Don't ask me why but I have a tingly feeling that OS4.1 final update will be released tomorrow (Fri Dec 18/09)..1 week to play with before Christmas Day

I wish a peaceful & happy Christmas/ holiday season to all Amigans world wide

Sorry to be programic, but i think it will be released after XMAS and i am not sure that it will be soon after XMAS :) But will be cool if it will be released in the next days :)

I had nothing to do with the update, except the usual work. The CD itself was almost entirely produced by Rigo, who, I might add, did an extraordinary job at it, as you will all find out when the update is released.

No, most certainly not. It's not advanced enough to do that, and once we start releasing stuff, it will be a very much a moving target.

Having said that, I *an* typing this on an Amiga using Timberwolf, so yes, it starts getting usable :)

In past messages (in november) you say end of the year as a possible release date, do you think that this would be possible ?

Because it is a team effort, the update will be released when everyone is happy with it.

That said, it's not far away now, just the last remaining issues (as we found a few more at the last moment).

All of us in the OS4 team strive to give the users the best product realisticly possible, and if that involves holding off for a while longer, the benefits will be noticed.

Seriously, I don't know. There are a few details that keep us from making an alpha release. The timeframe is still "When it's done"

Thanks Rigo. Take the time to get it done as best you can the first time. Otherwise a rushed release can cause you to try a second or third time afterwards to make amends with greater loss of time, money, quality, and respect.
