Re: MPlayer 1.5 released!

@white

MPlayer is statically compiled, no matter what version of SDL you have installed.
Currently we are using SDL 1 2.16...

Aniway could you post a log of your crash?

@jabirulo

Yeah it's my fault, I have added too many formats
Probably we found the root of the problem

Mmm by watching again your video i noted you did not use a standard ASL requester
What are you still using, its some kind of external software?

Maybe that message/error is caused by that

@white

If SDL video driver worked on your Voodoo3 card, then it should continue to work also with our 1.5 release.
The only change we made regarding SDL driver compared to the old MickJT's version is the linkage to SDL 1.2.16 instead of the old 1.2.15...
Joerg has already explained you everything in detail, on such system you should use instead vo_amiga or p96pip/pip ... as further alternative you may even try wpa, although I'm not sure if it works

Note that at the moment vo_amiga and pip drivers are not yet completed, scaling support still to be implemented

Let me know

@ktadd

Maybe its due to FFMpeg, the latest version we use for 1.5 may be slower

@Gerarchia

You can consider it as a successor of the old MickJT release, which in turn was a successor of other versions

As a naive I wonder, but couldn't AEon make a generous offer to Ben in order to buy the whole mumbo-jumbo and finally get him out of the way? 😌

@smarkusg

There are difference of course but scholars traditionally divide Slavic languages into three main groups based on geographical and genealogical principles, of which some are further divided into subgroups:

Eastern group:
Belarusian
Russian
Ukrainian

Western group:
Czech
Slovak
Polish

Eastern subgroup:
Bulgarian
Macedonian

Serbo-Croatian, also divided for geopolitical reasons into:

Serbian
Croatian
Bosnian
Montenegrin
Slovenian

Russian, a bit like English nowadays, is an international idioma understood in many countries
