The mysterious hidden surprise was revealed, a new 3D game is coming for OS4, the author is our HunoPPC
The game is Sonic Robot Blast 2 - Riders and you can watch the first video of it on YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/user/hunoppc#p/a/u/0/eSAFlTxuukk Just to remember HunoPPC is the main author of the mostly recent (and greatest) game port for AmigaOS 4.x:
PrBoom 2.5.1 GL, GnGeo 0.7.1, 1941 Extr?me, Super Mario War, Zelda OLB/ROTH and so on ...

@SIID You give your opinion but it is sad to read that. As I am at the party organized by HunoPPC, I tried yesterday evening this game and it runs perfectly. The gameplay is not so convenient for me but you know, my game is programming. Else, the games may look old with textures from 80's but it is fully matching the Sonic atmosphere. HunoPPC : Trust me, you did a great work again and I am proud to see the result before (almost) everybody. More news to come today :)

My opinion is that I would prefer to see quality 2D games coming out for Amiga, unless some group is capable of doing a better looking 3D.

That looks like great fun. When do I get to play it???!!
But PLEASE tell me that the frame-rate problems and skips were problems with the video itself and not the game. And lastly...
To whomever is responsible for the gameplay in that video, GOD-DAMN you suck! And I mean big-time.
(sorry, I couldn't help myself) As soon as I can get my hot little hands on that game, I'll make a video to show off some of my awesome skills.

if you would read how to play, this message appears when you are behind the other players and did not reach the finish line before this 1:42 (see it as a countdown).
you dont need to read the whole text, it is just the way Huno fixed the display (by forcing it in opengl and this is a side effect but AFAIK it does not prevent you from playing AT ALL
).
