Unbeliveable it may be but I like the graphics on that screenshot. Such a game could be ported or made for Amiga, especially that it resembles Gothic 1, and besides, G1 should be ported to AOS.

There has been a great point and click game set in a future world. It was a game from the years 95+, one of the last Amiga games ever made. I do not remember the title unfortunately not the developer.

Good news, hopefully it will reinforce Amiga's game library. By the way, if you look at youtube comments to Amiga classic games you can easily spot among them their programmers. Maybe these people could come back to our platform after a little encouragement?

Aquaria port is a wonderful idea. Nonetheless, if only Aquaria designers agreed to make a special Amiga version, it would be great news and a perfect advertisement for X1000 platform. This game is totally soaked in this unique feeling exclusive for Amiga games. Some sort of special Amiga edition would attract many fans to this computer. On the other hand, maybe Aquaria designers are Amiga fans and will prepare something for us unexpectedly?

If I had X1000 I'd really want it. And I think sooner or later I'll buy the computer and having such a great game would be beautiful since this game has a typical Amiga feeling.

@Arcane5150 Wow, this game is pure magic, if someone ported it could be the greatest game available for Amiga. Maybe someone competent and representative could contact them about the Amiga version - admin@bit-blot.com ?

I would say Dungeon Keeper 2 could be a great and maybe easy conversion. One of these games that have this unique Amiga atmosphere.

Seems I am in the opposite camp here. First time I played Gothic I felt it had this Amazing atmosphere like old Amiga games. Gothic 1,2 port would be a beautiful thing!

"The amiga is great for retro gaming so maybe an updated retro game would be a good choice. Personally i'd like a film-tie in game, something like robocop 3 with different levels or even an updated version of 'The killing Cloud' (no tie-in with current events intended!) or even a 3d shooter like 'Virus' from the Archimedes and Amiga vesion." (amiga.org user)
Sorry if any of you considers this spamming, but I thought this is a worthwile idea. Some new kind of interactive games would be a great thing. What comes to my mind is a more realistic thing though - conversions of interactive movie titles, such as Phantsmagoria, 11th Hour, Harvester, Darkseed for a start. And later further developing alternative gaming in many directions.

My opinion is that I would prefer to see quality 2D games coming out for Amiga, unless some group is capable of doing a better looking 3D.

@Helgis
I doubt Amiga can ever be as powerful a game platform as consoles or PCs are now. Xena chip is no way better than PCs hardware. Anyway, at least it is closer to it than before and this time more games will run on Amigas and hopefully some developers will make some completely unique ones for our platform.

Successful promotion is a key to the good sales, hence developers should attract all users' attention by releasing (or updating) some software along with the new hardware. That's obvious. Anyway, besides typical tools of daily usage such as graphics/text/video/music programs, that should be available on the new Amiga from it's premiere, some games would certainly be a way to attract attention. I've been thinking about the new version of Alien Breed which is in development by Team 17. I bet that X1000 with it's quite powerful specifications could run this and I hope there are people here who could contact T17 members and persuade them to release this game for Amiga. I hope that it isn't just my head in the clouds.
