I can report I finally succeed in installing update on my X-5000/020+RX580
What I did was exiting AmiDock and X-Dock since the installer is resetting some WB prefs, thats why the WB screen switches to white.
That was on 1st partiton on my SSD with NGFS.

My 2nd partition was a no-go with a GR pointing to NGFS 54.34 so I reformatted this partition as SFS/01, copy the backup, launch the update et voilà...

so much for this and not a single clue as to why it is working with SFS and not NGFS, why on the 1st partition but not on the second ??

like Djk83, the installation proceed to 100% but the GUI was stuck, all check boxes were greyed, so I waited a few minutes, nothing happened so I restarted and then black screen !

You are not alone : I am also getting a black screen after updating from the archive downloaded from Hyperion website (and not through AmiUpdate).

I lost one week to get my backup back since it was on SFS2 partition (which is not recognized by the x5000 PreRelease CD, which is the only thing I had to boot from...)

at the moment there is none so uae is taking its default value, whatever they are hardcoded... I only have kick.rom (WB1.3) in the path.

I launched the v1.1.0 and got a WB1.3 screen which is good (and 90% used CPU under X5000/020 with RX580 which is not so good)
I launched the v1.1.1 and got a GR (DSI, can not bypass, just terminate)

I dont know this game but Saimo is doing an excellent job at releasing quality/imaginative games and tools so I have no doubt about his next project !

The PSU of the pc died on me yesterday and I exchanged it with the one from my X-5000, which is a Lepa Maxbron B700M (so 700W).

I am looking for a new PSU since this one is not available anymore so was wondering what Amigans are using in their machine (and I think 700W is probably too much even with a RadeonHD R9-270 or RX 580)

Is it slower because you are running it in window mode ?
I always have in mind that full screen should be faster because only one screen needs to refresh whereas in window mode, mednafen AND workbench have to be refreshed slowing things down, but maybe I got it wrong ??
