@geennaam
Impressive ! we (as user) can only be proud to have people like you still developing new (and usefull) stuff for our beloved Amigas !
one question thought : can you boot from it ?
EDIT: nevermind I just find tha answer in the readme !
Q: Ok, that is all disappointing. But I will be able to boot from this drive, right? A: Wrong again. Currently, none of the NG systems support booting from NVMe drives. U-boot itself supports NVMe since 2017 with three isolated source files but I was told that it will take a complete rewrite of the X5000 U-boot to add support. In other words. Never.

@arfcarl
I rename/disable the roadshow entry in ENV, rebooted and speed is the same as before (50Mbps, should be 500Mbps)
what are these magical settings to help getting the full network speed back onto NG Amiga ?

@sailor
Huno told me auto.cfg or default.cfg (in base/base) are not used. if you want to change something change it in Doom3-configs/base/Doom3.cfg (make a backup first)
for the timedemo, Huno was clever and added a shortcut : just bring back the console (win key + ²) and press arrow up et voilà !
EDIT: we tested the multiplayer and it requires a valid Doom3 key (to enter in the multiplayer menu tab)

I originally had 1x2Gb (Corsair) in my X-5000 and after reading the recommandation from Kas1e regarding his latest ports I replace it with 2x1Gb of Kingston which were laying around and after running Ragemem, I am getting the expected number for write32/64 (around 1'500)

for Atomic Bomberman session you have to log to discord server, which as you might guess, does not work under Odyssey... so it is a no go for me !

AOS4 iso for X-5000 is done by Hyperion which do not have the SFS rights anymore, bought by A-EON so you get SFS2 when you purchase the Enhancer Pack from A-EON, but you can not boot from a SFS2 partition on a X-5000, at least not at first.
You always need a NGFS partition to boot the system initially ("cold boot")... same goes for FFS2 BTW

little update : formatted the USB stick either as FFS2 or NGFS and copied over the content of the X-5000 pre release CD.
in both cases I got the following error : invalid partition type "DOS\7" (expect "U-Boot") invalid partition type "NGF\0" (expect "U-Boot")
what does this means ?? do I have to install the SLB in the RDB of the USB stick ?? where can I get it ?? it is NOT present in L: as it used to be for AmigaOne system !
what a mess and no support regarding this little question...

countdown or delay ?
type nvgetvar in your shell to get your U-Boot parameters.
here is what I have :

still no go : RawDisk does not let me choose 0 as start cylinders (min is 2048)...
I tried rawrite32 on win7 (Kas1e said in another thread it is the best tool for such thing) where the start is at 0 but the USB key is not recognized under AOS4...
any help/suggestion welcome.

there is none, thats why I was asking for it a few posts above...
I tried the Khayoz suggestion (thanks man !) but I forgot to set the start cylinders at 0 (is 2048 by default) will repeat and report back if it works !

@LiveForIt
well I am not talking about MOS here, I dont have it installed !
I just want to copy the content of the X-5000 pre release CD to a USB stick and asking which FS should I format the USB stick with so that I can boot from it at startup. I tried FAT and it was not recognized.
knowing that on X-5000 you can only boot for a NGFS partition (at least you need the kickstart drawer in a NGFS partition), I am wondering if the USB stick has to be formatted as NGFS or something else.

got again an error on one partition having SFS2 (BlockID error) !
I could make a backup and reformat the partition by using the X-5000 prerelease CD as boot but I would like to use a USB stick to make it a little bit faster.
Since I got a second hand beta system, I dont have the Flash Drive USB stick customers got when purchasing a full X-5000 system therefore I am asking those what is the filesystem used for this FlashDrive ? is it NGFS, FAT, NTFS, FFS ??
