funny that the transfer from VRAM to RAM is much better with an older version of the RadeonHD (v1.21)

R9-270 is much better than RX550 but the consumption is 150W vs 50W...
I would guess that the RX580 is currently the best card for the X-5000 (but the consumption is 185W) !

I also run the starbox 3D demo and here RX550 is better :

another fun fact is that under Win10, furmark 3D benchmark gave 2696 points (45fps) for R9-270 vs 1022 points (17fps) for RX550

I have an external DVD drive (ASUS SDRW-08D2S-U with double USB) connected to my X5000/20 and although the audio CD is showing as harddisk icon, audio files are accessible and playable (with Tunenet)

for PlayCD, you have to change the icon tooltype to match your usb disk.
in my case :
DOSDEV=USB0
DEVICE=usbdisk.device
UNIT=0

I am using OS4reboot in my X5000 (and before in my A1XEG4) everytime I need to reboot so thank you for this. I put it in a dock and is one click close to reboot (much easier than the menu IMHO)

Now that the latest AOS update has a poweroff feature from the menu, I dream to have it incorporated into OS4reboot !

is there a way to expand the listview ?

for example when you go to Mantis bug tracker to report bug in a WHDLoad slave, you can not select a game past DragonStrike which is annoying.

Fantastic work Huno ! it runs very fast on my X-5000.

And it is the first time that we have a version supporting the SuperFX mode !

and it is using the composite mode so kudos again and nice Christmas present from HunoPPC !

same issue here.

my Samsung drive w/o disk inserted reports nothing in the 3rd tab.

when I put a DVD, it displays (no window output at this point) :
device : vsata.device unit 1
fimware date unknown MMC-5
serial number R93E68DF802X2B

drive is reported as TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224DB version SB01 in mediatoolbox in p50x0sata.device (I never got why I have vsata and p50x0sata.device pointing to the same drive even with a fresh install??).

Maybe you should mention whether your are using PCI or PCI-express sound card.

I am using a PCI soundblaster and was told not all soundblaster PCI-E are compatible so maybe it is the same for Audigy and Juli soundcards ?

I am using TwinVNC on my X-5000 and TightVNC on the Win7 with RAW encoder

It is not fast (I mean the refresh) but at least it is working (kind of speed you get with AmiCygnix)

We have RDesktop which is on the AOS4 CD but I was never able to connect !

In the previous version, the audio was not perfectly synced with the videos (at least in the intro).
