This thread is for general questions about OS4.1 Update 1 I know the version of TuneNet included is new, but what about the other programs? Is there anything special about the included versions of YAM, OWB, IBrowse, DOpus, etc...?

@RacerX The OWB version is 3.23, which is not available anywhere else yet, and has the fix for the crash when disabling tabs. The SimpleMail version was also an exclusive, but was gazumped by a xmas release on sourceforge. pFtp is also an exclusive version for the CD, as is DiskMaster2. Simon

How about YAM? I noticed the graphics and icon are better looking.

All images have been updated, not just for the system but for the contributions too. Martin "Mason" Merz has put in an absolutely astounding amount of work into this update, and I urge everyone to go to his
site and buy Max a small present as a thank you for his dedication, time and talent.

. I was still being careful not to close tabs while another was loading.

Installed the update, its bl00dy brilliant ! One gripe: I like the transparency, rounded corners and drop shadows, but it can make the response less than ideal. To that end, I'd like to upgrade from my Radeon 7000VR (32MB RAM) to something a little better. The question is: what is available that will do the job - what will the drivers currently support ? It will be going into the AGP slot of the AmigaOne XE.

I'm sorry but Ringhio is not from Rigo at all, just go into Prefs/Notifications and there on the second tab activate the "splash on startup" checkbox
Personally I experienced no problem installing this update on my A1XE, thanks to all involved. One simple regret would be the fact the installer is not localized while the first thing asked by him is to setup language... Too bad, I don't remember very well but wasn't the OS4.1 install program taking this into account in order to present the user with localized texts ?

@RacerX Of course it does, everything that worked with 4.1 should work with update 1. @agafaster Your best bet is probably a Radeon 9250 128 mb Edit: typo...

@All Clicking on the forground/backgound does work only for bringing a window to the foreground. What about this? Joseph

@JosDuchIt Can it be due to the fact ClickToFront is now activated by default ?

I keep getting GR's with compose.task in intuition.library, when running Turbocalc.
I don't know if it is Turbocalc, Petunia or intuition update.
I have TCalc set up in a dock, and it seems to lock up more often running from there than directly from the program icon. So it may be an Amidock problem.

Hi @abalabanCan it be due to the fact ClickToFront is now activated by default ? No, it's not default. It's setup for use by Sys:Prefs/WBStartup. There's no law says you have to use it.
