Hello all.

October is here, so once again, please, if you will, please nominate an Amiga OS Developer/Graphic Artist/Web Portal, etc, etc, who should be featured for the month of
October.

whom ever/whatever is nominated, should be of use to AmigaOS4 users, should not have featured previously and please, ensure that they have a paypal donate account too!

Many thanks.

Mikey C

Technically not for a couple of days.

My vote goes to the Friedens (FriedenHQ) & Hans.

(I also think Rigo (for AmiUpdate) & ssolie (for Ranger) would be good choices -- but they don't have PayPal buttons as far as I can tell)

P.S. Thanks to everyone who donated to me this past month. It was very much appreciated.

Just FYI: http://www.stephan-rupprecht.de/ Stephan has a paybal button. Stephan is an OS4 core dev and has written dozens of PD programs.

Hi @orgin
more votes please :)
This candidate was one for October, but I don't know now--
Acuario programmed in Hollywood 3.1 by:

I roamed all the sites and can't find any PayPal buttons. Well, ain't that shame.. I love Acuario because I can walk away from Amiga in public and the password protection keeps it all safe! That 'Flowers' Screenblanker is nice.

@all,

It seems that there is very little interest in this scheme.

When we started it, people were very enthusiastic for it, but since then, gradually the interest has waned.

Even the number of donations by members to the featured donators has dropped, each month, the nominated are getting less and less in donations. (not in terms of those who still donate, but the numbers of donors)

Shall we call it a day or take a break?

What do you guys think?

Maybe a fresh reminder of what it's all about would help. People need to be reminded about things from time to time. Of course, a number of people may have less cash than usual due to buying a SAM 440 board.

Another idea would be to assemble a big list of developers with PayPal accounts along with what they're working on. This would give people an idea as to who they could nominate. Of course, people should be free to nominate people not on that list, but it would make things easier.

I can only speak for myself here in Michigan -- the economics suck big time...then Wall Street blew-up after I said that! I would say hang it up for a while!

Unfortunately that's a worldwide problem, and combined with the SAM440 and OS4.1 launches, leaves little money over for donations.

I appreciate the nomination, but I do not have a PayPal donate button.

What I would like, is for all those that would donate money to me, to donate to a Cancer charity of your choice instead.
