I wonder where those p1022 have been stored all that time. If not stored under the right environmental conditions then the tin balls will have oxidation. And this will lead to unreliable solder joints.
Some Sam440 and low end AmigaOne or Pegasos systems will likely make their way to the second hand market
I know that will be the case with me. When I get my Tabor up and going I plan to try and find a home for my uA1. I plan to try and find some who doesn't have an OS4 machine, and can't afford to buy one, to give it too.

I tried selling my A1XE a few years ago on Amibay and got zero interest, so I don't know what the market is for older machines.
I think the second-hand market is pretty good now. Although there are seldom AmigaOS 4 compatible computers for sale on eBay and other platforms, I have seen those listed on AmiBay in 2022 and 2023 go quickly. The last one I saw on AmiBay (in July) was an X5000 which sold in a day or two. I sold my Sam setup recently to get funds for the A1222+ and it took only five days, so very happy about that. Maybe you should try re-listing your XE if you still want to sell it?
I tried AmigaOS 4 for Classic under WinUAE and i was quite disappointed by the fact that apps crashed like under AmigaOS 3. I then realized that it can’t be your primary OS without an up to date browser and even Morphos which is in better shape still can’t be used as a primary OS so what the point then? I then decided to buy a V4SA+ under 3.2.2.1 and I’m home.
The difference between running AmigaOS 4 under WinUAE and on dedicated hardware is huge. Have you had a chance to test it running on an AmigaOne X5000 or perhaps one of the Sam models? It is much more stable and faster on those than under emulation.
@All
With Amiga38 and AmiWest coming up in the October, I was wondering if someone had heard anything concerning a possible A1222 Plus release on one of those events?
