It appears that site doesn't like adblocker turned on.

I was thinking the same, but I did get the download to work today. I entered prefs & turned js on & adblocking off, saved & quit odyssey, The download button worked with a re-start. I've had sites that showed nothing with adblock turned on in the past. See if that works for you, you can also just re-name conf/blocked.prefs.

That's odd, because I have adblocker always active, and still it works.

What adblocker blocks, depends on whether you have updated it's "blocked.prefs" file. I use the latest version from http://adblock.free.fr/adblock.txt ... but that does have some problems.

It all depends on whats being blocked. I can right click on an ad & add it to blocked.prefs, & I've done that. Just need Lio to turn it off & see if thats his problem or not. My v7 works just fine otherwise, so its a setting.

Thanks kas1e for working on Odyssey for OS4 again, and to deadwood for the hard work of upgrading Odyssey with the latest webkit! Just hope some day not too far away we also manage to get it to work on OS4.

I just bought a (slightly mouldy) house and have a kid on the way, so my programming time is basically zero nowadays :(

Basically one on the way is nothing, your going to be in for a big shock when the baby arrives.

Hi there,

I have been testing patch 7 on Odyssey 1.23 using AmigaOS 4.1 FE on my X1000. Thanks for these fixes btw, very helpful indeed!

As you probably know I blog quite a lot so not being able to login and use blogger on the x1000 under Odyssey is quite frustrating.

With Patch 7 I can now login to blogger which is great.

However, when editing a post I am unable to upload any photos or select from existing photos on the blog.

The upload photos functionality appears, but the Upload file button is not able to be clicked on.

If I choose to select a photo from the existing blog, it locks up Odyssey for a while, and then it returns, with no images to choose from.

Any ideas?

Catcha,
Epsilon

@Epsilon

Have you tried turning Javascript off for this site?

The cpu going to 100% (normally) means JS is performing it's magic.

Then again, i had the same behaviour on the github online editor quite a lot and it's gone now with v7...

Well, now that I have the OWB media player error on Facebook I can't recover from the DSI.

*EDIT*

After further testing it seems it is the same situation as before: sometimes the DSI can be skipped and browsing can be resumed, and I still get the same brower freeze when memory becomes scarce because of js heavy sites.

@Srtest

Nothing has been done regarding Mediaplayer in Odyssey, it will crash as before since Ka1e never said that it was corrected.

Whis system are you using ? With wich version ?

What has been corrected is the memory leak so memory won't be eaten as fast as before BUT if you come out of memory, you'll for sure have a crash, as before.
