VideoVortex and automatic translations

Hello,
Has anyone found any solution to prevent VideoVortex (or YT.rexx) from translating automatically videos?
When I want to watch an english video, it is translated to German and when I want to watch a French video, it is translated to English.
What a mess has made Google with these automatic translations.
If someone could point me to a way to prevent these automatic translations with ViudeoVortex, this would be cool :)
BTW : I know I can use the "No Default Resolution" to choose a definition and an audio track with Emotion but it is slow like hell and it eventually crashes.

@Skateman The 2081 version is the one most awaited indeed (AltiVec and speed). This the one I would take

Weird, you seem to have an instable system (maybe hardware related) :(

No, even on X1000 you rapidly reach the limit and it crashes.
Really nice evolution, many sites working at last but too memory hungry for the moment.
Let's wait for the future versions (still using Browservice at thje moment, working like a charm).

@Elwood The best browser for Amiga systems is Wayfarer (MorphOS): it struggles with speed even if it is capable of displaying every websites (including YouTube using the mobile version). The reality, as already explained by Jadacap AND Afxgroup AND Kas1e AND Joerg, is that having a modern and fast web browser on a monocore Big Endian architecture will never be achievable at a decent speed to be able to enjoy actual web surfing. From Kas1e: Quote: Browservice sounds like way to go for sure(...) From Joerg: Quote: Execute browservice on this Linux host, which can use the additional CPU cores (X1000 and X5000 only)... From afxgroup: Quote: I think this is the best solution on our platforms.. So, if all the WebBrowser experts say so, I don't think 10 000€ would change anything at the actual limitations. Maybe focus on other things.

@NinjaCyborg
AmiBrowser uses exactly what we have described (CEF).
Browservice is an implementation of CEF.
Install a Pi in your X1000 with Browservice running and you'll get the exact same result.
Maybe developping a new minimalist browser (or better, enhance IBrowse to use Browservice or a CEF equivalent) and you'll get a even better result.
This is the way to go to have a good browser on AmigaOS 4.1.
Even jadacap thinks about moving Wayfarer to this direction (even on a PowerMac G5 2,7, it struggles to render some heavy pages).

Yes, indeed. As I was saying previously, it's better answering "no "to everything asked by the installer and install all by hand.
I'll see if I find the time to start again the installation.

@skynet
There won't be any difference (either you spoof as Classilla or you patch directly Browservice).
Regarding emulation, yes, it must be why it's slower than what we get Maijestro and me.

@hotord
Indeed, it will be really useful for everyone.
So I tried again.
I donwloaded the whole pacage mentionned by Maijestro (thanks mate) and tried the installation once again after having installed all the BIOS files.
The installer stopped at one moment saiying it cannot copy one file.
I tried to start RetroArch and I got a DSI.
So, maybe it was easy for you (maybe you are someone used to install RetoArch on PCs or RPi but this is not the case for everyone). BTW it was not a snorky comment, I just wanted to try but I do prefer the real systems (I onw many of them) even if I know lots of people having much fun with emulators.
@MagicSN
I never do that (install where the files are downloaded).
I will wait for the next version (or a modified version by someone containing everything at the right place).
When I have some time, I will try again the installer answering "NO" to every question (we do not undestand if the installer will copy its own BIOS files or if it is asking for our own ones which should be in another directory and then it will copy them a the right place).
Davebraco, on the French Amiga-NG site told me to install all BIOS files by hand since it is much simpler.

@Maijestro
I know it as much complicated on other platforms.
This is why you can find all-in-one ready packages anywhere on the net.
Have fun with RetoArch (I'm not a big fan of emulators anyway) :)

@Thread I tried to install it, it got stuck copying "fuse" with CPU stuck at 100% usage. I won't go any further, it's to much time consuming trying to make emulators work on our systems (where to put ROMs, where to put BIOS, what is included, what you have to find by yourself and so on...) Waiting for Settlers II :)

@walkero
Yeah, that's what I have already written in the thread : spoof as Classilla.
I f you check the issues, I asked the developper to include the same patch as he did with Classila for the next version (I have already written all this in this very thread).
Regarding Skynet's video, I think he is still using browservice.js, I find everything to be too slow to be normal.

Nice video. X5000 is even faster than X1000 and it shows.
Yes, once configured as wanted, it is the best solution.
