I would pay for an updated version of FinalWriter, or AmigaWriter, or CinnamonWriter. I liked almost all the Amiga Word Processing programs, except for WordPerfect.

Same here, would gladly pay for a new version of the Word Processor (Final Writer) and even the other parts of the series (Final Calc and Final Data). Would love to help too...could beta test well, but am no coder :)

@logicalheart One should credit WordPerfect for being better on AOS2 than on MS-DOS; e.g., "WordPerfect 4.1 for the Amiga was the first word processor to allow indefinite windowed documents to be open." One can still type in it on OS4FE, but it's pointless to do so. Nothing else -- like Save, Retrieve, Print -- works.

@ddni
- With a new version of Wordworth I would be happier...still my favorite word processor.
- Still running Update 6 and I don't have any DSI on startup. Maybe WW doesn't find something (fonts, settings) and this triggers the DSI?

I am looking forward to maybe becoming a 1st time user of this app. I have only been into AmigaNG since around 2010 and use mostly as a fun hobby machine but do find I use it for work a tad to since I work from home. Having a word processor that can at least open and save basic word docs would be of benefit for me work wise. I receive docs from work in this fashion. Very basic docs. Anyway, looking forward to see how this all pans out and maybe I will become a new user. TJ

It's a very nice word processing software for AOS, one of the best so I'm very much looking forward to it. One question though, I got the version that was translated to swedish. Can any of that be used with the new version? I don't care that much about the program itself but rather the spelling and synonyms.

@terminills Oh but it's for Aros right now. I guess you plan to release it for different flavours.

@thread It would be nice if Amiga had a dedicated document format. ODF is good but complex we need something simple like an updated .guide with better formatting. Time and time again different file formats dont convert properly in windows world. Print margins, text margins always off somewhere. Amiga could excel here. Alot of word-processors miss out functions for booklet printing eg 2 a5 portrait on landscape a4. Script control or tedious tasks.
