On the
Tubexx official web site or with it's own function, you can find the last OS4 version.
For who doesnt know, Tubexx it's an arexx script (with a nice gui) for
search, download, convert to DVD or Divx and play your youtube favourite videos.

@pvanni
Any idea how I can get:
* xsltproc 6.2
Apparently: It's in the Cygnix SDK
I have never downloaded Cygnix as it seems so huge, is there any way to get the needed item standalone ?
I am limited by British Telecom discrimination to 512kbps
Bill.

@pvanni Nice that there is a os4 version again. However im fine with getvideo and clipdown as im used to it now. @VooDoo When you get all files needed maybe you can make a package for me :)

Re: Tubex (OS4) new version
@Kicko A package of the needed files would indeed be nice. All the dependencies frightened me away on installing this

@pseudaxos
I agree that Tubexx it's a little difficult to set-up, but once it's
running you have in only one program the ability to:
search/view/download/manage/convert youtubes videos
and it's use is very easy and confortable.
Saying that no one is forcing you in using Tubexx

I installed all the required dependancies and still come up with a codesets error. However I have the latest "codesets.library" 6.9 installed. Why the error??

@pvanni When I tried the other night I just got DSI and crashes. After a long long hot week and a few beers tonight I revisited. I changed some of the default values (which were probably left over from my previous working install) and hey presto, everything works well, although with some visitations of DSI as you say. It would be great if the DSI issue could be identified because overall it is a fairly simple way to see flv files played (and download). cheers ace PS Thanks for taking the time to work on Tubex

@amigadad very strange, I tried to remove the codesets.library and Tubexx work, are you shure you have installed the right one? Which locale setting have you?

@pvanni Straight forward enough to install. The only minor problem was the DSI error but clicking on ignore sorts that out. Only had a quick look so far but this looks good. Probably still use Clipdown for youtube links sent to me but for looking for particular clips, I will use this. Cheers

I got the same error as you. I even tried previous versions of codesets.library with no luck.
I finally traced it down to a missing mcc (in my case htmlview), so it seems that the error message is incorrect.
After installing the htmlview class Tubexx works without a hitch!
Please check if you've installed all the required mui classes.
