Sadly if it's dead. Becouse programm are with good potencial, but still need some bugfixes. For example skins over os4.1 a bit 'messed'. Some kind of 'auto' play when connection is lost must be added and so on .. Hope author will work on it in future ..

Maybe a good solution is to release it as opensource, i'm quite sure that we can find some good mantainers now, look at the plugin's guys

Aniway, the last words is to the author

I really do hope the author has plans for improvements. Or else i do hope he can give it to someone who'd like to continue working on it. As it is the best player on almost any machine. Atleast i think so.

I don't understand why everyone seems to think Tunenet is dead.

Has anyone listed the bugs which need fixing, or the features that are essential, or nice to have?

Has any one contacted Paul with such a list.
The last update was the 24th September 2008, only six months ago. I wonder if anyone would say OS4.0 is dead because we haven't had an update for six months?

I would imagine having two small children, a wife, mortgage and all that entails, gets in the way of programming in your spare time. I know I don't have enough time to do all I want to do.

It might be that Paul actually thinks Tunenet is fully developed.

There is a phenominal amount of Tunenet plugins on OS4Depot, which continue to make Tunenet the best audio player on the Amiga, so let's be constructive in our comments, and try to iron out any possible problems.

I would say let's make the bugs and features lists, to see what needs doing, and point Paul in this direction.

Hope that he is only too busy to develop it and not that development was stopped...

It would be a shame if development has stoped!
Even as I just created a new icon theme for it...

I just realised.. 4.1 has true transparency now. It'd be good if Bean could add an alpha channel etc with the new SDK.
