I was a betatesting with a Pegasos II and i am sure there was a few others. I don't remember any problems but i can be wrong, it was a long time ago. It was more stable than my AmigaOne XE.

Hahaha wow… the effort you made for these absolute bullshit games 15 years later!
I really enjoyed reading them, so keep em coming! :)
I don’t remember a single one of the games though :D

Feel very free to package the ones you want in separate archives and upload.
No need to credit me or anything. :) Have ”fun”!

On what hardware you have delay ? On all my real amigas i have no delay when run it (peg2, sam460, x1000 or x5000). Through there are a bit of micro-delay because it throws on sereal for every run that:

ListBrowserBase(HAS_NEWCOLUMNS): Test53.38  Has53.79 <- AVAILABLE
LayoutBase
(HAS_NEWLAYOUT): Test53.0  Has54.10 <- AVAILABLE
BitMapBase
(HAS_ALPHABITMAP): Test53.6  Has53.9 <- AVAILABLE
GraphicsBase
(HAS_COMPOSITION): Test53.0  Has54.252 <- AVAILABLE
InitColors

But that happens for every run. Seems when Orgin upload latest version forget to disable debug output, but that anyway give a very little micros-pause, dunno why you have noticeable delay ..

It's just the first time it opens, it takes a bit to load.

If uses software scaler, it help only upscaling the changed parts.

My guess that will just under cursor, and scrolling text, vu-meters, that means large part of screen does not need to be redrawen.

Quite possibly, I had 100% CPU utilization under AmigaOs4.1 and that in window mode. With other SDL2 applications it is around 30-60% in software rendering. So I suspect that this port was just ported badly, but I have no idea about these things either.

In the comments section on Os4Depot you were able to confirm that it was sometimes executed very slowly. What hardware did you test it on?

I tried it on an M1 mac.

Got SDL to show graphics by selecting the software renderer in SDL2 prefs.
I tried the protracker clone and played a mod, here on my M1 mac it is too slow, i get too slow playback and distorted audio.
Let's hope it improves.

@smarkusg

"you may still be using SDL instead of native video output for macOS
add "-display cocoa" to your command line. I didn't see you define it in your command line.
you are approaching the subject of running qemu a bit too haotically it seems to me"

aah, i had that in an earlier commandline and forgot to include it in my latest one, it's fixed now... thanks. Let's see if it makes any difference.

I tried this with hippoplayer under QEmu/AmigaOS4-Peg2.
It took me a while before i understood that i had to deactivate it to be able to select mode to be fair.

Hippoplayer now plays a future composer tune via paula, but the timing is all over the place, sometimes too slow, sometimes too fast, can something be done about that? A setting or so I mean or is this just the way it is?

@balaton

Allright, thanks for the info.
It's mostly set up here now.

It looks fine in window mode but the fullscreen modes doesn't match my macs screenmodes, so the amiga image gets scaled or too wide etc. Have you guys got that solved or is this how it is atm?

the network is fine in owb, i guess it's some weirdness or some amiupdate server that isn't responding.

yea, strange, i did install update 2 before, but i guess something went wrong. I'll redo it and be more careful.
I guess i don't understand why we have boot:kickstart/ system:kickstart and kickstart.zip. Which one is used, or are more than one used?

Crap.. i copied the new silicon motion chip file to boot:kickstart/ system:kickstart/ and kickstart.zip and now it doesn’t boot anymore..
I guess i need to restart from scratch.
