5 New themes for AfA users (including AmiKit).
Just drop them into your "skins" folder.
-or-
AmiKit Users put them here:
AmiKit:Prefs/Presets/AmiKit/MorpheuZ/24bitThemes
Screenshot Download Edit: Fixed the gadgets in the 'Tree Hugger' theme and added LiteMetal (by request).

@klesterjr
Ken can you draw tiffany skin in blue gem instead of green?
In that way you could propose it as AROS default theme
Very nicer than default one

@klesterjr Great work! What about a OS4.1 titlebar image?

Hi @klesterjr
Pea Soup looks like the original Hyperion Theme - "MT", which was one of my favorites.
http://amigaworld.net/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=348&full=1 I still use it, but replaced the screen backdrop with your "Simple".

Great work! What about a OS4.1 titlebar image? Heh, heh. Perhaps someday I'll be painting OS4 themes, rather than "re-imagining" them for OS3.x.

Tree Hugger = OS4 in green (more or less)
Pea Soup = MT (more or less)
Ikir = Ikir's theme (from OS4 Depot)
Gem & Tiffany are the only "original" creations in this archive (technically, they're ALL original -- just derivative).

@klesterjr I love the "tiffany" theme... would look cool with the close box corner rounded off as a 4.1 theme *whistles innocently*
Seriously, if you do want to contact me write me a mail. You're more likely to get a reply then.

Wow, thanks for this.
My favorite is "Pea Soup", thanks for converting
it to OS3.x.

Kotler

THIS. Or it might not -- I'm not completely familiar with what OS4.1 can & cannot do.
Edit: Just so you know -- that's a paint over the top of a "real" 4.1 shot. AfA has trouble with rounded corners (it's not impossible though).

It might look something like THIS. That looks cool. But take gadget glyphs from the "Tree hugger" to this "Tiffany" theme and it will be great.

@klesterjr
You should remove the "x"from close gadget and instead to instert something of "o" with the same style of arrow images... Then yes, it would be an original theme for 4.1

@ShInKurO
And arrow images should be into green (same title bar colour) rectangular buttons
Even scrollbars should be green, so all selected things will be in foreground...

Or it might not -- I'm not completely familiar with what OS4.1 can & cannot do. You can basically specify a bitmap with an alpha channel. It isn't limited to rounded corners, you can even make a window look like it's a sheet off a college block/notebook for example, or give it a ragged top edge. Right now, you're limited to a bitmap for the title bar; the rest of the borders will come in an update, plus a few extra features like tintable bitmaps (so that the bitmaps you use can be re-colored on-the-fly to adjust to different color schemes).
Seriously, if you do want to contact me write me a mail. You're more likely to get a reply then.

Rather than post off-top in the 4.1 screenshots thread ...

I remember this screenshot from the old days (1997 maybe?) and always liked it.
Since I've been into "theme painting" this week, I thought I'd see what could be done.
Ran into a couple of issues:
AfA can't do a proper gradiant fill across the top of the window.
Couldn't figure out an "easy" way to change the text color in the screen title bar to white (without goofing up other things) -- so I used a the lightened gray version of the titlebar painted for the inactive windows.
Still, not too bad -- now it just needs Orgin's icons!

. Then I can get back my preferred bright boing-ball red borders instead of those boring pale blue ones, without having to cook up my own recoloured version of the bitmap.
Best regards,
Niels
