Any version of the Enhancer Software qualifies you to download this free of charge.

I don't get why i still get
RadeonHD.chip(v3)
RadeonHD.chip.debug(v3) and
W3DN_GCN.library
offered as updates, when i'm not allowed to download it.

Likewise I get exactly the same here. If it is not a valid download why does it still show it ?

Thanks for the continued support from you and the team of developers.
MultiEdit v1.13 now uses the new Toolbar Gadget Class.

Just curious. What advantages does the new Toolbar Gadget Class have?
Looking at MultiEdit the toolbar looks exactly the same. Is it easier to use for developers?

Unless I missed it I didn't see it listed on the Wiki

Yes. It's absolutely incomparable in terms of ease of use and configurability. No messing with Exec lists to create your buttons, no need for dedicated functions to set or inquire about properties, support for alternative image sets you can switch between by a single call, image scaling, borderless buttons...

I'm going to cover the ToolBar Gadget in A-EON's blog soon(ish) - a bit pressed for time at the moment unfortunately.

In the meantime you can have a look at the online autodoc in the wiki.

Thanks Trixie!
Yes, toolbars are/were a pain. That's what kept me from using them. This sounds like somthing I just might have to make use if in the future. Nice!
I look forward to the blog.

The quirky setup of the SpeedBar was the main motivation for me to develop the ToolBar. Make sure you have a look at the examples in the Enhancer (Core) SDK. You should be able to get your own toolbars going without much learning curve. Andy Broad found the gadget very easy to use when he was converting the MultiEdit toolbar.

I assume you have registered and installed the Enhancer Core, in which the ToolBar was introduced? (Updater cannot find an update for a component that hasn't been installed on your system.)

not the core but I purchased the plus edition years ago for my X-5000, that was updated as the updates were released (up to v1.5) but I dont see any toolbar.gadget in classes/gadgets either in SYS: or in the archive of v1.5 (support or installation files).

EDIT: it is also not in v1.4 which seems to be the earliest version I got so how to I get the older package so that this gadget gets installed (and hopefully updated) ?

EDIT2: ok got it ! I did not know you can download (and install) without having a prior version installed.

The ToolBar is a brand new gadget that was developed for Enhancer 2.0 (to be released soon). A-EON has made it available for free as part of the Enhancer Core pack.

I also enabled the download of Toolbar Gadget for Enhancer Software v1.x users - so even if you own the Plus, Standard, Special or Core versions the gadget will download for you on Updater.

I did not have immediate plans to release a Version 1.6 of the Enhancer Software because we want to migrate to v2.0 shortly. However I *may* consider it as a maintenance pack to bring v1.x in line with the Core Edition. I am undecided at the moment and it would depend on demand from users. In the interim every v1.x customer can download the gadgets found in Core without needing to register for Core.

That's cool! I wonder why some happily keep repeating the nonsense that A-EON is "milking" their customers when so much stuff you've paid for has been provided for free.

For the past couple of days Updater has been showing xdock v2.42 not found.
But it is there in the utilities drawer and I'm using it and it is v2.42.
Not a problem as its still working but thought you might like to know
