IBrowse 3.0a Google

Has the development of that web browser stopped?

I'm asking because Google no longer works at all with that browser, gives an error message saying to update the browser and when you use the spoof you get the home page but any search gives the same text.

Too bad I paid for that browser though.

The latest AmiSSL updates are installed.

I even managed to make an application icon and drawers for this browser in the Infinite Icons Theme Pack.

Same situation here. It worked fine last week. I don't remember if I used Google search in the last two days.

That really sucks because IBrowse is my main fast and easy web browser for OS4.

Google still works ok with NetSurf 3.11

If I had working Amiga hardware (plan is to invest in a Mac Mini M4 in the next few months and run QEMU), I would try debugging Google for you. The thing is, with the exception of technologies like AmiSSL, IBrowse is mostly a 25-year-old browser. There are so many new features that have appeared in that timeframe, that nearly anything could throw IBrowse off. The issue with Google could be something simple, or it could be something invented last year and convoluted...and built on top of yet other unsupported technologies.

Maybe a web developer here will have a look and post an opinion? Oliver reads this site regularly enough, and perhaps he'll chime in shortly?

I also hope IBrowse starts seeing regular updates again soon.

I'm hitting roadblocks when I try all the spoofing things I
can think of with the latest IB beta.

Unfortunately, this is just ANOTHER example of how goggles is
simply and utterly anti-user.

It does not serve their spy on and monetize every last
thought/action model of business to allow a simple browser
just pose a question and get an answer.

Obviously we have a few other browsers to use and DuckDuckGo
has been mostly up to the task as my primary Ibrowse search
engine.

Good to know that development is not over with IBrowse3.

I'm usign last Ibrowse 3.0 Build 30.08 (22.12.2023) and not have problem using Google for search
