I talk to Oliver irregularly, and have no reason to believe that development has stopped. I do know he's found himself in a situation...either work or personal...where his free time is limited, and IBrowse has had to take a backseat. The AmiSSL updates AFAIK still come on time.
If I had working Amiga hardware (plan is to invest in a Mac Mini M4 in the next few months and run QEMU), I would try debugging Google for you. The thing is, with the exception of technologies like AmiSSL, IBrowse is mostly a 25-year-old browser. There are so many new features that have appeared in that timeframe, that nearly
anything could throw IBrowse off. The issue with Google could be something simple, or it could be something invented last year and convoluted...and built on top of yet other unsupported technologies.
Maybe a web developer here will have a look and post an opinion? Oliver reads this site regularly enough, and perhaps he'll chime in shortly?
I also hope IBrowse starts seeing regular updates again soon.
