In few days I'll try to post my experience between SAM460 and X5040.
Until now I'd have some classic apps that works on SAM but not works for now on X5k, but first I need test current installation of AmigaOS4.1 provided from USB stick.
I'd try to mix my SAM460 files with AEON preinstalled AmigaOS4 on USB stick and some apps and tools fails.I need reinstall all from start and testing.

Finally after one year with SAM460LE I update to X5040.

Thanks to all for your grettings.My first post was 1 year before, in this year I have ejoyned and learned a lot with AmigaOS4 and projects from community.

I need finish some post I have prepared about how to config LightWave, VistaPro and other older apps to run in current AmigaOS4.1FE with newer graphic cards like Radeon RX.

Waiting for enjoy this new webbrowser version long awaited.

I have the same problem than other users with green or purple tint screen if I try to start UAE in full screen at start.
If I start in window and later use Combo keys for go to full screen , it works good only if use 32bits color.If I use other color configs like 16 bits or 8 bits screens, tints screen back again and can't remove using 32 bit screens until exit UAE.

I have my AmigaOS4 Workbench desktop in 32 bits and using RadeonRX 550 card.

Combo keys in this UAE is changed from ctrl+alt+... for ctrl+left Amiga(or left windows key)+...

S for switch from window to full screen and viceversa.
q for quit and exit EUAE.
F1 for inserf adf or dms in df0:
F2 " " " " " in df1:
F3 " " " " " in df2:
F4 " " " " in df3:

I'm suppose that exist more key combos but I don't know it.

Do you know if the L2 cache of CPU is currently enabled on the SAM460? I had read that it was disabled due to coherence issues like GART, but I don't know if those are things of the past and it is currently enabled.

Thanks for this review. I think many users are asking themselves which machine is best, and videos like these help them make a better purchasing decision based on each user's needs.

I'm very satisfied with this updated version, now I'm waiting for Starcraft version :=)

Now with -g option enabled the game runs at very good speed for my SAM460. Thanks for your work and your help.
Without -g option enable my speed was similar to previous @Estrayk video on Pegasos2.

Now my startup script is this:

stack 2000000

The game runs little slow on my SAM60, but I appreciate this new ports for our AmigaNG.

I'd test some WarpOS old apps and games with Rewarp and works more or less but... some old apps like ImageFX on PPC side only use PowerUp libs.
When WarpUp or WarpOS established as global solution for PPC transition a library called PPClibemu made bridge between PowerUp to WarpUp redirecting their calls to WarpOS libs.

MorphOS can use PowerUp software and WarpOS/WarpUp apps. Today thanks to Rewarp we can use WarpsOS/WarpUp software on AmigaOS4 but it's available any solution to run PowerUp software, like the old PPClibemu from 68k systems?

I'm trying with allocmem tool from os4depot that fill ram from a shell command and when I use more than 1Gb of ram partially with allocmem and open some apps at same time system freeze. This means that use more than 1 Gb of ram in AmigaOS4 it's a fake? I can install 2 Gb but if use more than 1 Gb of ram system crash, it's the same result to have a system with only 1 Gb of ram.

I have the same problem with my SAM460LE with 2Gb RAM. when copy more than 1 Gb of data to ram , mouse and keyboard die or system hang, really I don't know.

I'd check Hyperion web site for buy your version of Gorky17 for 68k but not found. I'm only found to buy in Alinea shop but sell PPC version with 68K version, not found where to buy only the 68K version or update. I own PPC version I'm no need buy again.

I found the stupid problem. In Sound settings prefs of AmigaOS4.1 I have AHI output with only 2 channels, changed to 128 channels and now works perfect.
Ambient music sound continually tried to cover the voices with only 2 output channels.
