Looks like the elf.library bug, it's crashing when it should display an error requester about missing symbols. Make sure you don't have an old libgcc.so in the OWB directory or in SOBJS:, that's AFAIK the only reason why such an elf.library requester would be displayed.
Same bug as I had and th solution might be exaclty the one I gave (and the one Joerg juste gave to you): check for an old libgcc.so in your OWb directory.
Bye the way, Orgin has just created a simple solution in order to avoid posting long crashlogs on the site.
Do you know why the popup menu doesn't work on this site http://www.seb.se/ under the text "Logga in"? This can be worked around by using ibrowse wich will take me further and allow me to log in, however there are more popup menues like this one wich is the only thing making this site not working .
I would love to see it working so I can use AOS 4 for internet banking.
EDIT: I'd like to add that doubleclick doesn't work and also sorry if puting this in the wrong thread.
Do you by "combo" mean the popup menu? In that case, yes I've tried to click that field like on other sites like amigans.net, aw.net etc but I can't change between the options using the arrows. Also tabing to the popup menu and then using the arrows doesn't work.
EDIT: I just read what I wrote and what I tried to say is that I can click the menu on amigans.net, aw.net etc and change the option using the arrowkeys. It's just at http://www.seb.se/ that it doesn't work AFAIK.
The URL that you are attempting to access is a potential security risk. Trend Micro OfficeScan has blocked this URL in keeping with network security policy.
I have pb with the following french site www.alsabad.fr : if you click on "competitions" there is a menu on the left which is not well aligned so it is already difficult to click on "interclubs" and even more difficult to click on "resultats 07-08".
Do you have 1 GB RAM or more? I didn't check the exact size of the page, but it's very large and 512 MB RAM may not be enough for it.
If something doesn't work please always retry with OWB started from a shell, in this case there should be an error message that allocating memory failed before it crashes.
I could change OWB to need much less RAM by only rendering the visible part of the pages instead of the complete pages, but scrolling gets unusable slow that way (page up/down is still usable, but scrolling in smaller parts with cursor up/down, the mouse wheel or the scroll bars isn't), and it would need a lot more changes, currently there are way too much other problems that way.
Can you add a request to warn when memory is too few for showing all page, or similar please?
I could display a requester if allocating the memory for the page fails, but OWB would still crash after displaying it, and it would still crash without displaying a requester first if there is enough memory for the page itself but not for the contents (text, images, javascript, etc.).
Would it be possible to use HD based VM (when it is available in OS4) to get rid of those "page may be too big, bug user to get a better machine"-windorks kind of bug?
People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction. And all you can talk about is money and fairytales of eternal economic growth. How dare you! – Greta Thunberg
Yes, that's what is calles "memory paging" and what Rogue was talking about in some threads. It is planned for Amiga OS 4, and OWB won't have to be modified in order to use it since it will be the OS that will manage it.
