Okay, I dug up my trusty noname PS2-HID adapter, and it looks like the AmigaInput support is broken in VICE. I'll fix this soon.

I know about the sound problems. That's the next issue to deal with, along with the slowdowns in the "auto" refresh mode.

Maybe it works for you, but it's broken for many of us here. Care to elaborate on what settings actually work?

Perhaps also the Competition Pro isn't configured correctly here or something cause I don't get it in Neuromancer which Mobygames says should support digital Joysticks. What's the recommended configuration?

Does the Numpad + RCtrl keyset work in Neuromancer?

No, Only the keys "k", "l", ";" , "o" for movement and a bunch of keys for interactions with the game world. Maybe it is of some relevance that I didn't configure the Competition Pro on low level via Amigainput as there was never a need and all games + emulations work.

VICE doesn't use lowlevel.library, the OS4 port that is. You can test it with this utility:

I can't even get past the code screen as the only keys that work are the F keys and Numpad sometimes flashes the screen. Anyway have to put this aside for now. Good luck!

TBH I have no clue what are you talking about, I can only suggest you to delve into the VICE manual a bit when you have time again. Thanks anyway.

Comp pro now working normally.
No sound though.
Have matched settings with a working version, but no joy.

Sooo did I done right when I replased the original x64 file on Vice-AmigaOS4-2.4 directory with the new one?
I can get Vice running but when I for example try to attach disk image I get totally system freeze, no crash log

I'am using X1000

I tested with 4-2.2 as 4-2.4 never worked for me.

I used the OS4 archive as a base:
http://vice-emu.sourceforge.net/amigaos.html

I can't do much about complete freezes, but maybe you could give a thorough description of what you did exactly.

about sound problem, I solved using these settings, open->Sound Settings:

Sample rate: 44100Khz
Buffer size: 150msec
Fragment size: Very Large
Speed Adjustment: Flexible
Volume: 100
Sound Output mode: Stereo

I also changed the "VICII Video Setting" setting the "Render filter settings" to: "none"

Tested the joystick with differents games no problems... I have, instead, problems with disk image (d64).. For some reason everytime I attach (with autostart option) an image, it reset the warp mode and for some reason then it cannot load any programs..
