Hi Guys,

I too have this problem. Can click on the entire message link at top right corner and see the message and header in multiview. But the body of the message link aways shows as 0 bits.

Keep up the great work.

Thank you for your ongoing work on newscoaster!

May I ask why you don't commit your changes back to the sourceforge project? The last commit there was done in 2005! I would really like to see such code committed back where it originally came from, so others could also have a peek.. if you have troubles reaching the original author/sf project admin, just ask here on amigans if someone knows him or over at aw.net .. I'm sure this problem would be a solvable one

(While you are at it, you could update the fairly outdated newscoaster website which was last touched in 2003 )

i've removed so much things related to original newscoaster that it is impossible to commit changes.. but i've already put the source code here:

http://code.google.com/p/newscoasteros4/

Now it is only for os4 because it is hard to find a problem with the actual state of the code and so i've removed many MOS/OS3 part

BTW if someone wants to join the group just tell me

Reviving this old thread about newscoaster on SAM 440:
Tested with a paid account.

- When launching newscoaster, he ask after an assign for tbimages.

- for example, a fetch or get group (more longer) give temporarly a verry small window. If I try to change the size witht the size gadget on the window, the SAM freeze.

- Write a message and post the message not work. fetch minuts, hours or days after and never seen the post.

- Answering a thead normally and press the post/reply button and a DSI:

PLEASE don't include all the "System Information" from the crash log. If the maintainer wants it, he can ask you to send it privately.

Posting it here does no good and merely takes up space.

cheers

I'll even add that http://crashlog.os4depot.net/ is there for that purpose so even a cut down version should not be posted here but on that site instead and then here one just have to post a link.

install AISS since it is needed by most of programs these days

- Answering a thead normally and press the post/reply button and a DSI:

Except for the first point that happens also here i can post and reply to messages without any problems. And messages are posted correctly on newsgroups.
BTW, i have no time to take a look also at newscoaster. if someone wants write access to fix the problems can contact me and i'll add him to the project

I have AISS instaled for sure.

Thanks for answering and I'm available for debugging in case someone would like to fix newscoaster.

EDIT:
now with a french locale, no problem for resize the window after get group (for example).

was able to post on NON binary newsgroup. NOT work on binary newsgroup.

problems are:

-AISS assign
-clipboard buffer warning message too often.
-the DSI when post (not often).
