Hello, Too bad you can't test the libray on the 2 amigas you have. Just play some seconds same DVD on your 2 amigas and we could be sure if the problem is only on the X1000. If yes, I could, or Diego, could contact Hans and ask him to test the Library ? (if he don't know a new avcodec.library exit). No problem like that on A1 with radeon, sam440 and sam440flex. Raziel can also test last beta but he has never given a sign of life

ChrisH
Thanks for this first version.
Please add a max stack used column. Like that, user can monitor the stack program in the background and later know the max stack used by the program.
stacksnoop do that with a vue meter per program and updated realtime.

Hello, In case you talk about a tool for monitoring the stack; I have allways appreciated this one, and work on AOS4. http://aminet.net/dev/moni/StackSnoop.lhathis tool monitor the stack, remember the largert one and update in realtime the stack used during the use of the program monitored.

You could open a separate thread here or on the hyperion forum about your GCC questions. Like that, others programmers will found the uestions more easily.

Hello,
Using the debug library give more detailed informations on the DSI than with the normal version (and a log on a shell with detailed informations also).
When possible, give us a link for the movie by itself also.

Hello to all,
I have received the first release of the library from Diego yesterday (of course, some beta have been tested during last months). This version will be tested tomorrow morning by me and if all work fine, this one will be released during next days on AOS4depot.
This is not the final version (with the last source from 2012) but an intermediate one. The final version will allways be planned to be released in June.
The improvements will be more format supported and surely slightly better play speed, error messages when not supported rather than DSI, a debug version for report.
Fell free to point some not supported videos you found on internet after the release of the library soon..

Just tested the new version:
Great improvements. Take less time to load and scroll an internet page. The isn't the MUI-OWB speed but the improvements on the speed can be shown by the user.
With some more beta versions, we maybe seen Timberwolf reach MUI-OWB.
Thanks!

Quote: 100 % CPU load should usually only appear when a page is updating (GIF anims, dynamic HTML etc). I'll check if the code allows me to add an idle measurement and drop the frame rate of updates depending on the cpu load. Even opening the simple google search page, with just a google logo and no vertical scrollbar give 100% CPU (and even a period of time after the complete loading of the google search page). Thats strange. On sam 440ep 667mhz.

hello,
Timberwolf isn't usable on my sam440ep 667 mhz.
load fine and open the about:home page. Nothing really on this page (not even a scrollbar).
100% CPU allways when timberwolf window is active. If I click on the WB screen, cpu fall the 0% CPU. and you can do this example lots of time.
I quit timberwolf and allways 100% CPU ??
Great work and beta version. Just the heavy CPU usage mean low user experience with low amiga-ng computer. IMHO, should be point1 to work for the next version.
MUI-OWB do the same with the same page with verry low CPU usage and quickly (or could not approach the Ibrowse speed).

Effectively, work better with the cache update done (on the readme).
The main problem is the 100% CPU even on poor site page and when doing nothing on amigans site = allways 100%.
This port will become verry great when this High CPU usage forever will be resolved.
Thanks for the work on this beta version.
EDIT: this page is allways at 100%, when scrolling with the wheel or when doing nothing.
