Newscoaster Ver 1.64 (OS4) Crashing.

Hi Guys, anyone else using Newscoaster and having a non-recoverable system lockup (crash, no GR).

It happens everytime the reply window opens and has only happened since upgrading to OS4.1. All other files (libs ect) are up-to-date.

Never used it before.
Just downloaded it now and tested it.
No crashes on opening up.
No idea what I'm doing though.

yeah this is old bug..but author now dont have time for this project...and need to waiting for better times...

I had lots of problems with the old 68k version, but none until now with the OS4 version.

eh.. i'm working on it at work and i have with NList and MUI.. here at home i'm working on mplayer and i hope can release it very soon.
and i have also another project now..

but the time is always the same...................

Hi Andrea,

Thanks for creating an OS 4.x version of NewsCoaster.
To me, it's a lot of faster and more stable than the
68k version. Especially when having lots of messages
inside a folder, such as 20,000 or 50,000.

The MasonIcons icons are, of course, a nice
touch when comparing to the old icons .

That said - occasionally - I do have a problem when trying to search in such a folder with lots of messages - I get a grim reaper.

Question:

Can somebody explain if it's possible to archive folders
somehow? I haven't found a way to create a new folder
and then move old messages into that folder.

On the other hand, I've never used a news reader
before, so maybe it's not working like an E-mail client.

Any pointers?

i've made a new version and is being tested by some beta testers... if all is ok i'll release it on os4depot as usual
