Impossible. There were no Mirari OS4 at that time.

Hunno was showing his Wipeout port on a Mirari running MorphOS 3.20.

What is the video card used in your tests? We will still need to buy the Radeon Driver package?

Roll 3d6 six times in order.

Probably an X1950 or similar under MorphOS since anything above that still doesn't have 3D support, although efforts are being made in that direction.

You'll still need Enhancer for the Southern Islands and Polaris based cards (or any other PCIe Radeon for that matter) when running OS4.

I have shipped all boards sofar with an 8GB Ram module. And if possible i will try to do so.

At least we don't have to worry about DDR5 prices. In August 2023 I paid £86 for a 32GB dual simm kit and today Crucial are selling the same kit for £379.

The last news as far as I know is the implementation of NVME and Networkdriver on MorphOS (november/december). See here for details:

https://mirari.vitasys.nl/the-first-rebirth/

Regarding AOS4 - They are working on ExecNG port. Find Trevors BlogPost linked in above mentioned website...

That is what I found on the interweb...

And now a driver for onboard (Mirari.audio) but MorphOS. Promising board but I wonder when would it become available for purchase.

Even if the Mirari may be one of the best systems for AmigaOS 4.x, it's not for MorphOS.
A 970 (G5) Mac is probably still much faster.

The Mirari will not be faster than the X5000 for AOS4.
The project's goal was not to create the fastest machine.
Rather, it was important for the authors to create a relatively modern PPC motherboard with an open U-Boot that is compatible with various PPC operating systems.
This opens the door for MorphOS to the closed hardware ecosystem associated with Apple, on which it is mainly based.
The latest versions of Apple's G4 and G5 hardware were released 20 years ago.
The future of OS4 is unknown.

During Amiga40, I had the opportunity to play with the Mirari for a while. I own an x5000/20 and I have a comparison, and I think the x5000's advantage isn't obvious. What's more, I believe the Amiga will eventually get multicore support, and the Mirari will be able to show its full performance. Of course for a single core, the only things that matter are the MHz, RAM speed, etc. so x5000 wins. BTW, great job, and I'm in line for this machine.
