I'm glad to buy a bundle or also the single driver, ..but in enhancer software please consider also all others non AEON systems like Pegasos or A1XE, and of course QEMU virtual boards.

I'd be ok with pre-ordering if it helps supporting the development of Enhancer too.

But at the moment I don't have any use for Virtio-GPU as I use AmigaOS on real hardware.
I'd rather like to see an Enhancer update, there are quite a few bugs and errors in WBInfo, Exchanger, ClipView..

True indeed!

We've been waiting for Enhancer Update since ages now.

Even Trevor has been announcing its arrival soon since... two Amiga Futures issues. Even him must not understand why there is nothing released yet.

Maybe Matthew is afraid of loosing sales of A600NG/A1200NG, maybe he is trying to push OS4 users to buy its emulation hardware and if we get an update, we won't go the way he'd like us to go. Anyway, it's been way too long!

Regarding the topic, I'm not really interested since I love using real hardware but I understand the interest in this project for development purposes for example.

I've been using Browservice with FFMpeg for years on 68k with WinUAE, both through Coffin and 68k in general through OWB for 68k.
Here you can find the guide on how to watch videos on 68k
if you want to make a script yourself.

I modified Browservice years ago, and no one on the forum has ever helped me modify it for AmigaOS 4.1.

Even though I've asked for help several times.

Here you can find the scripts and the guide. I created the script in 2022 for 68k :

Also, I'm sure that hardware will be sold to use Virtio-GPU.

This explains why no Virtio-GPU driver is being released.

I still have the videos with Browservice but I no longer want to upload them anywhere

note:
Or you can use the @DisasterIncarnate script
created in the same thread.

Here video @DisasterIncarnate script:

And even the old version of "QT Browser" was perfect; YouTube videos played perfectly, and it was much faster than Firefox.
With Browservice.
With AmigaOS 4.1, however, the video lasted a few minutes and then stopped.
And I didn't get any help there either.

So it's really true that it's better to keep projects to yourself and get paid if necessary.
Because that's what people are looking for.
Not sharing, but being selfish.

I don't think the A600NG/A1200NG are competing products. The target group is very different.

That would make a nice conspiration theory, but I think the reason is much more simple. AmigaKit have come up with viable products that make good business sense, so the development focus is now on them. This is logical, as a company simply needs to make money to keep going. I wish them well, and hope the A600NG/A1200NG sales help them recuperate at least some of the money the have invested into the OS4 platform.

No, mainly because I already own and use PPC hardware for OS4.

However ...

I do not believe that we will see another update to AmigaOS4.

I do not believe that we will see Enhancer Software 2.3.

Meanwhile ...

AmigaKit has created two proprietary systems, A600GS and A1200NG, which they are supporting and providing updates and fixes. I hope this works out well for AmigaKit and their userbase.
