I installed the version from os4depot (it is currently in the uploads section) During the installation, it overwrote the older version and everything works fine.

I apologize for the out-of-topic question, Out of curiosity, does InfoWB’s “verify checksum” still work for you? I did the same once, and it broke the checksum function. I hunted down one file in the AmiSSL libs directory and copied it over from a backup as the file is not included in newer AmiSSL versions.

I'm not sure if I did it correctly, but it seems to work. When I retrieve "Calculate checksums" from any x file using InfoWB.

This is very strange, it uses openssl rather than AmiSSL so the AmiSSL version installed is irrelevant.
There were some updates to a newer version of Curl recently, and since 3.10 it is also updated to OpenSSL 3
I don't see why it works for some people but not others (unless it is OS related, in which case anybody using a newer beta of OS4 probably needs to investigate, and maybe check the command line version of Curl to see if the latest does the same thing)
FYI, the command line version of curl uses AmiSSL. I was going to suggest testing the openssl binary from libopenssl.lha using s_client but that wouldn't be testing the connection / resolver code of libcurl.
These days libcurl should be easy to port with no source modifications needed. Choose --with-openssl when configuring (and make sure the openssl headers in your compiling environment are the right ones) and the resulting curl binary will use OpenSSL.
Hi Chris, a few steps forward, now it doesn't corrupt the graphics and it doesn't ask for guigfx.library. I can navigate the first site I open but when i try to open a second website then everything freezes.
update: with proprietary screen work better than on wb screen, anyway i keep a window with many error in wb screen and later a dsi
It renders pretty quickly, its stable (it did not crash), tried a few random sites. but there is lots of rendering issues yet, I mostly tried Norwegian news sites, like:
I don’t normally look at these pages, as its full of clickbait news, and paywalls. this was just because I was curios about how compatible browser is, mostly.

I did a couple installs of the new NetSurf... Interesting...
First, I put 3.11 on my X5K with an out of date beta system and it did as others have reported... It complained about guigfx.lib and could find no websites.
I installed the latest 2005 guigfx.lib package and that made no difference. It seems like the complainer for that in Netsurf is barking up the wrong tree.
I also tried installing the v3.11 on my vanilla 460 FE2 system and it installed fine. No asking for guigfx and it was able to find websites.
IMPRESSIVE WORK ON THAT MACHINE
It ran fairly quickly and did a nice job of rendering a few parts of a few modern webpages. CONGRATS!
But then I tried your most recent v3.12 test build on my X5K...
I installed it, it complained about guigfx again and it just hangs trying to access any websites.
That got me to thinking about the installs... In all cases I ran your install script. It seemed like the installation on the 460 copied waaaaaaay more stuff than was installed on the X5K with either build.
Is it possible this all is an installer config problem and that parts are being left out depending on the systems and OS versions?
It should only be using guigfx on 8-bit screens. It copies a default config which makes it run on the WB screen, if that isn't set then it should prompt for a screen mode to open its own screen on. Try deleting users/(user)/Choices
on second machine asked again for guigfx.library and corrupt graphics on the top right (search) I try also here with proprietry screen 16 bit depth anyway some problem than PJS
