Trevor's speech for Amiga38 was streamed earlier today here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhaw7NAjPKU

You can rewind and check it out.

According to Trevor, the A1222+ is on display on the booth of AAA and is running AmigaOS 4 with Enhancer installed, so people at the event can go check it out and test the system.

I recommend to see (if still available ) yesterday's Official Live Stream.
The topic of QEMU and what "A-EON" and Hans de Ruiter are working on.

Please rewind to 29:15

Nice video from "The myWorkspace! Channel" providing a good overview of the different stalls.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU7XybBJ9lM

I was not present at the event, but know that AAA took pre-orders for a complete A1222 system at their stall. TribbleSmasher posted a picture of the price at Amiga.org here:

Anyone knows if the new Heretic 2 for AmigaOS 4 was displayed at the event? I'm interested in the boxed version which I read about on OS4Welt.

HunoPPC at Hyperion's table were asked to show Heretic2 (if i understand it correctly), or at least on his own table. Also, Alinea by idea were asked to show it to, but so far they have issues with their hardware/software on the show, so unknown if they show it or not.

Hans de Ruiter creates, for A-Eon, a virtio driver for QEMU emulation. It is already very usable (v0.5).

Where did you get this information?

That would of course be excellent and make me and some other users who use AmigaOs4.1 via Qemu very happy.

Ok I have seen the video, so it was thus officially presented. Wow Hans really made it true, this driver will definitely be available with Enhanncer Software 2.3.

Thanks Travor/Aeon and Hans de Ruiter

@amig_os

Thanks for pointing that out, I must have missed it.

Interesting, this virtio driver for qemu is depend on what kind of real gfx card are used ? Or its same radeonrx/hd ?

Also, this is for any qemu emulation: be it sam, peg or a1, or for one of them ?

Will be cool to have warp3dnova working on, can help a lot and in terms of comparing and improving drivers and just for testing purposes as well
