Thanks for your work on AmigaOS 4 Monthly Roundup, it is very interesting to read. And yes i'm the author of DeepL tool from OS4 depot.net. But my tool has nothing to do with the article from the Amiga Future. I never read this one.... my bad.
This link is not working at all for me. I tried yesterday at work on a PC too using both Chrome and IE. They seemed to indicate out of date TLS or something like that. So for once it appears not to be an Odyssey only problem.
At home using Odyssey, I get the following:
Any ideas as to why everyone in the world can access this link but I can't. Work and home do not use the same providers so I do not think it is a provider issue either.
It is not just that specific URL anything at amigaos4gaming.com has the same issue.
Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! I'm very happy that you find the monthly roundup interesting.
Btw, if you have some news you would like me to include in upcoming roundups, please feel free to send me a message and I can include it.
@BillE
That sounds strange. Have tested the website both at home and work without problems, as well on my mobile phone. It is a regular Wordpress blog hosted by Wordpress themselves, so should not be any problems. I have no idea what it can be. Sorry.
Hi, This is really weird. I just tried on my Amazon Fire HD with Silk, and it worked ! The site is OK with Netsurf on my X1000. Works on Chrome on Fire HD too.
Just not Odyssey on X1000 nor IE and Chrome on PC at work. The work PC may be blocking the site probably because of the word "gaming" but the message was not the usual one for that case, I'll check again next time I am in.
I can also see what happens on a MacBook Pro once I recharge it, and can also try an iPhone (I'll need to find a magnifying glass to use that!).
I can read the Roundup anyway now.
Why some work, some don't is a mystery.
Maybe I have something in Odyssey's ad blocker that is causing the problem ?
I can say that for me it works fine in Odyssey (latest 1.23 r5 from jan 2 2022) on X1000. So maybe your idea about an ad blocker or something is worth a closer look?
Best regards, Niels
Exactly the same Odyssey and hardware setup here. Unfortunately still no joy with the adblock disabled. Even though I do have other options I would like to solve the mystery. Maybe the curl file ? I have the version dated 1/1/22 size 208065 which seems pretty upto date.
ANyway I have had a quick scan of both the Jan and Feb issues and am impressed. There seems more info there than in any of the forums or magazines. Maybe not the former but its all in one place.

Strange that it does not work. Hope you will find out what causes this.
Thanks for the positive feedback concerning the reports! Cheers!
