this is Sven from Cinemaware. First thanks for all your support. I want to give you an update and some short information. This physical release is limited to 300 Editions. This will be the only physical release, no 2nd Boxed-Edition will follow. It will be a classic BigBox with the Manual (Aviation Manual included), Poster and a CD which includes the Game and the Soundtrack. Also the classic Wings is included.
One important thing. This is a real community project. Daniel worked for free till now and continues with developing if we reach 150 sales (right now we are around 130) but can only be completed paid if we sell all 300 copies. We, Cinemaware, will not earn anything on this game. If all 300 Boxes are sold, he can also fully concentrate on the Port, so the release of Feb. 2016 is really safe. Sales goes complete to Daniel for the port and the production of the box. So its really important that we get sold out :) If this project and also the "Defender"-Project are successfull, then other ports to Amiga-Systems are realistic.
So please support this game and also spread the word and link :)

So just 20 to go till the absolute minimum is reached. We should definitely be able to make that. It would be great if the full 300 could be reached. That would be a good sign for future game projects.
18 (or even less). I finally bought one last night after reading Sven's post above. Time will tell how much I'll actually play it, but - well, it seemed like the right thing to do
@pepe Thanks for that vid Since it looks as if the min. funding goal is going to be reached you can expect new source material for more videos pretty soon
@Elwood Although this is probably the least important issue in the demo: it has long been fixed Actually it wasn't Cinemaware's fault at all: it was me who was too lazy to look up the correct key / code for those special characters when I typed those language names into the locale files. In the original game those buttons are pre-rendered, while the Amiga port uses "procedural" buttons with dynamic text on it. So I had to actually type text. Now you can safely preorder
It seems to me that only OS4 game sales can almost reach 100 copies. (Based mainly on amiboing.de highscore statistics).
But for the three platforms together takes this time to preorder such a game like Wings Remastered is surprises me. Especially to see that how it slows this time which indicates nearly the end of the absorbtion capacity of the market.
It is a good pointer of the size of this market. Furthermore note the fact that some users (like me) buys everything that just released for the pure intent on supporting developers.
I hope this market will grow in time!
Let's preorder the remaining stock, because I have no room for two copies!
Who are the market? There has been some statistics, on age, and I can say the Amigans, are mostly in there 40 to 60's, so the fact that you can get 100, sales is not that bad. What is average age of people who play games?
(NutsAboutAmiga)
Basilisk II for AmigaOS4 AmigaInputAnywhere Excalibur and other tools and apps.
Now that the minimum has been reached, is there a deadline for pre-ordering the other 150 copies? I just don't seem to be able to justify making a 50EUR purchase before X-mas
