@AmigaOldSkooler Is everything okay with you? I’m missing the Monthly Roundup for May, as I always really enjoy reading it. I hope nothing bad has happened. Best wishes and regards, McFly
@Puni No need to apologize health always comes first!!!
I just thought it was unusual that you’ve been absent lately, which is why I asked. Thank you so much for your posts. I’ve always enjoyed reading them (with a translator); they were always written in a way that was super easy to understand :) I wish you all the very best during this difficult time and hope everything turns out okay. As we say here in Germany: keep your chin up
Thank you very much for the blog, and all the best to your partner.
If I may point out: amiga-news.de/en has been publishing news – including news about AmigaOS 4 – on a voluntary basis in our spare time for many, many years. We warmly invite everyone to take a look for themselves, as we research, edit and write the news ourselves. It may seem trivial, but we all do this in our spare time, and it involves an enormous amount of effort and time. So, keep yourself updated! :)
@AmigaOldskooler I understand you, this is a hobby and sometimes you need to disconnect from it, because it can become exhausting or disappointing. Cheer up, and enjoy the hobby in another way.
When a hobby goes from being something you enjoy, to being a full-time job without pay, the once fun hobby turns into a slave contract with yourself. It’s important to balance free time, and put aside some time for other actives, like taking time with family, taking walks, socializing. Obsession is not a healthy mindset, when something is the only thing you think about its time to take break or find something else for a while.
I have been there and I do appricate the work you have done, when you did not need too..

Thanks for all the roundups, they've always been a good read and a nice way to catch up on what's going on in the AmigaOS4 space.
But, true, it's no fun if the hobby starts becoming a pressure. Then it is time to let it go and go have fun with something else.
I whish you and your partner all the best! And hope to still see you lurking around the Amiga hallways and maybe come back strong some day in the future :)
