@kas1e

First of all, thank you very much for your tireless work in promoting OS4 :)
I already find Dumpad very useful because it is small and fast, really great.
Just as an idea, could you maybe add tooltypes so that you can adjust the window size and position of DumbPad?
e.g.
WinPos top/bottom/center ...
Win_height ...
Win_width ...
and also a localization would be great
But even now DumbPad is a really great tool, thanks again :)

@lazi
many thanks for the v0.3 (OS4)
Now the copying to the PC is much faster and there was no interruption with files larger than 1GB
top job :)

@lazi

Thank you for the update (v0.2), which I just tried.
File transfer between PC (Win11) and AmigaOne X5000

- PC v0.2 -> X5000 v0.2 works smoothly and quickly.

- X5000 v0.2 -> PC v0.2 slow copying (approx. 5000 kb/s), aborts the copying process for files larger than approx. 300 MB.

- X5000 v0.1 -> PC v0.2 fast copying (over 17000 kb/s), test file of 1.46 GB was copied without problems.

I'll stick with WormHole v0.1 OS4 for now, even though there's no progress bar. However, I can see in the network dock that data is being copied :)
I hope this feedback helps you a little for the next update :)
Thank you for your work

@lazi

I hope I didn't cause you too much stress with my video. But the interest in WormHole shows that this program is very popular.
I also hope that this will generate some donations for your work.
WormHole works perfectly for my computers, A1200, X5000, Win11PC :)
Thank you again for this great tool

WormHole: great tool to easily transfer files via LAN

Hello everyone,
I made a short video of a great tool that you can use to easily exchange data via LAN. You don't need to configure it, you just need to start WormHole on the computers on the network and then use drag and drop to copy files to other computers.
The video is in German, but you can set English subtitles. I would be happy if you gave the author some positive feedback, thank you :)

@mcleppa

hi Arild, fantastic work, thank you for that.
My Epson Workforce WF-2860 is finally printing thanks to Airprint :)
What I tested:
- Text files are printed from Airprint or Multiview without any problems
- PDF from Airprint, no problem
- HTML page from Odyssey also without any problems
double-sided printing is also possible, really great :)
However, I once had a GrimReaper after printing from Odyssey had finished and I closed Airprint.
I confirmed the GR by closing the program but was still able to print :)
There is a crash log here: Crashlog_Airprint0.30

the crash came from graphics.library.kmod

automatically center EUAE on the workbench

(sorry in advance for google translate)
Hello everyone,
I've set up RuninUAE on my X5000, great stuff :)
I start it on the workbench screen, which works perfectly.
However, the E-UAE window is always in the top left corner of the WB after starting.
I would like it to start centered on the WB, is that even possible? e.g. using tooltypes? There's nothing in the readme about this :(
At the moment I'm using Centerwin, but then I always have to press a shortcut.
It would be nicer if E-UAE started centered on the WB.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance

best regards

@mcleppa

Thank you for the trial version.
My printer is an Epson Workforce WF-2860, which also works with Airscan without any problems.
I installed Airprint exactly as described.
Unfortunately, my attempt to print from Odyssey didn't work.
However, there was a print preview and a message about it, see screenshots.
I hope that helps a little.

It's a shame there is still no link that supports OS4.
The current link with download brings OS4 after
unpacking completely to crash :(
