I can add to wish-list that ones:

1. Assault Cube (i never finished to port it normally, so can be good to have normal port). As well as Cube2 would be good too, as i dind't finish it as well (but it builds, etc). I have necessary code to deal with Z-buffer problems (they used it to have deal with bullets/guns, etc, the same as in cube1), and one of authors just do for me some code which workaround this, and while i add it to cube1, and there wasn't any more problems, with AssaultCube there was some other bugs like crashes after you load map two times or something. I can share necessary code of course when and if you need it.

2. Latest version of Epiar (it fails for me even with latest PHYSFS port).

3. ViolentLand. Also builds fine, kind of works, but can't make it works fast and bugs free

4. 7kaa. Wasn't able to fix endian issues with it.

5. Beret. That one i port to AROS, but it crashes on os4 because of endianes as well (the way how maps loaded).

6. Teeworlds. I ported some old version, and in last versions it start to produce some bugs which i wasn't able to fix (i assume also endian related). Should be easy to fix i hope, and game itself pretty cool and works fast (at least on my peg2).

7. DROD It's one of the best turn-based logical games. Similiar to Gish and Aquaria, this one too is a comercial title with a free sources. There's also DROD RPG also availbe for porting. (i also port it before, but it have some bugs which i put on todo and never get back to worry about).

8. Egoboo. Also build fine, menu works, but then trash and crashes when come to gameplay. But that one also nice to have.

9. VegaStrike

10. Last version of SuperTuxKart :)

Can one also ask for help on already ported programs when they feature crashes one (me) can't overcome?

I understand your frustration, and I did not say you answer was "invalid" in any regard. I merely pointed out that there's an "official" port being worked on for AmigaOS4. I know only what has been said in the announcements, and various updates.
It's flattering that you think I could tackle an office suite alone in the foreseeable future. The problem with GUI applications is that you either have to completely rewrite their UI, or you have to port the GUI toolkit, neither is a small task.

@noxlar
A lot of these are just mods, for example freedoom runs with practically any Doom port. Transfusion and Force Leashed are Darkplaces mods, they require no porting once the engine is there. Terasology and Pseudoform have too high requirements, probably the same goes for Cube 2. M.A.R.S. uses the SFML2 library, so I'd pass on that one fore the time being.

@kas1e
Most of these looks doable.

If The source is available, sure.

About Id tech 4 porting
I tested Doom 3 and Quake4 on MacMini 1.5 ghz and on Powerbook 1.67

On mac mini the games run the only problems some texture are missinig ...
but the overall speed is fast . i think there is not much video memory for the games texture.
On the Powebook the two games run very well i have to disable only the antialiasing for make the games run at 1024x768 some times slow down but for have great pleyability i have to disable shadows.

About games request if is possible there is the Homeworld serie(1/2) one of the best rts i had been played in past and not need big system request.

It doesn't matter how much video memory you have, without programmable shader support no id tech 4 game will work. The first Homeworld game is open source, and a port should be possible.

Well, I'm hoping that since QT was recently ported to OS4 that we'll see some quality productivity applications ported over. I'm just impatient after 15 years of waiting! LOL!

The only Qt office suite out there is Calligra Suite (KOffice), but it depends heavily on KDE libraries. I once tried the windows version, and I noticed a that I had to run the full KDE Platform in the background.. YIKES!

Usually that kind of projects have (many) compile time configuration options, perhaps Calligra Suite can also work with some features disabled.

Hi,

Mayby this titles could be possibe:

- Knytt Stories
- Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles
- Cave Story

This titles are multiplatform but first two are not open sourced but I think there are quite possible...
