Astromenace - AmigaOne X5K Game - Amiga OS 4.1

Been more in the mood as of late, after Amiwest in NorCal, to play with my AmigaOne X5K more, so today I downloaded and played...

This is an Amiga OS 4.1 game.

What graphics card do you have? And what resolution was that running at? It seemed to only be running at about 10fps. Looked really good apart from that though.

Only a Radeon 7750 here as back 5 years ago, that or the R9 were the options here in the USA.

I believe was was on 1080p and using my 43" 4K TV on this one.

Guessing if I lowered to 720p it would be better.

Or upgrade my video card to a RX560 and buy the new version 5 drivers to get up to date.

For some reason I thought the newest drivers AmigaKit sells was for the newer rx550/560.

Guess I need to read more on that.

It does get confusing what these all do. haha

So the old SI driver I already have for my Radeon 7750 is ok to work on a newer RX550/560 video card?

I guess to make sure to take advantage of the more power video cards out there for the X5K.

I see some folks showing they have Radeon RX580.

Would that be the newer video card and is there any graphics drivers or software needed to use these.

For RX ard you need RadeonRX.chip driver, and IIRC last version is 2.12 or something alike (in Enhancer Software 2.2).

And RadeonHD.chip driver:
V5 supported graphics card:
- Radeon R7 250/250X/265
- Radeon R9 270/270X/280/280X

V3 supported graphics card:
- Radeon X1300-X1950 graphics (not recommended)
- Radeon HD 2000-7000 series graphics card (excluding the Radeon HD 7790)
- Radeon R5 230/235/235X
- Radeon R7 250X/265
- Radeon R9 270/270X/280/280X

I don't see the RX550/560/580 listed in those lists.

But I see people running RX580 video cards.

Which vX works for them?

Guess I have it all then as I own the older HD for my 7750 and should I ever buy a RX580, my Enhancer 2,2 that I own comes with that.
