Dear all,

Its a sad month for me I made a huge error in rebuilding my sam440ep and in the process of doing so, I blew up the main board while sorting out what should of been a simple problem to solve.

However , I did ask Mikey_C to get incontact with m3x i believe? I havent herd anything back since then so im stuck back to square one. I really would like to get this board working again is there any one around who would know who I can contact to get it repaird?

Regards,
Stu

P.S Is it worth actually getting repaird for or shall I wait till x1000 comes out? Any information on who I can contact to get this repaird would be appreciated. Thankyou.

Yep, sad indeed. As samo79 said, acube is the place to go for help.

What to do is up to you. Wait till you get an answer and see how much it will cost you. If it's cheap to repair, then do it. Else i'd wait for the X1000.

At least you have another SAM to carry on with!

But yes, X1000, Mmmmmmm

edit:

sorry I just realised I got that wrong, for some reason I thought you blew up your 460 and by your signature you seemed to have a 440.

By "blew it up" can you be more specific exactly what is wrong and what you did?

Want to upgrade to a sam flex 733? I could be tempted to sell mine, no OS4 but you don't need that... catch me on IRC or email/pm if you're interested

@Severin
How did you get a Sam without an OS4 license?

Well I'm not Severin but I got mine without OS4 from a former beta tester. Over a year ago acube offered me a free copy for my maintenance work of the AROS port to Sam, which isn't progressing much since a year or so due to limited time.

Being an OS4 beta tester does have other benefits than having all those loverly bugs to hunt down :)
