I was wondering if someone could port the new version of Netpanzer. The one we have have is old and the servers are running the new one and you cannot play with the version we have.
I would be willing to donate for someone's time to port it! I love this game!
I'll have a look at it. Hadn't heard of it before.
Edit: Looks like it uses PhysFS. That could be problematic. Edit2: I think I'll have to defer this to someone else. It's looking a bit too complicated for me. Edit3: The source-code for the one on OS4Depot has given me some hints. I'll look tomorrow.

If old version of PhysFS will give you a problems, i have a last ones done by some aros developer (BZili), who share fixed sources for me and i have os4 build already (not released still as didn't tested heavy, but have no problems to give it for you if need it).
Please send it over in an e-mail. I'm sure you can find my e-mail address somewhere (I don't have it visible in OS4Depot uploads, but it's 'findable'). Thanks in advance.
It looks like it *would* work if I knew how to fix the internet related code. It's designed to expect a system with IPv6 support.
ffmpeg comes with some fakery in libavformat/libavutil that I tried using. It crashes though on ff_getaddrinfo.
I'll stick the source up somewhere tomorrow and perhaps someone else can figure it out. Please say in this thread if you're interested, because i'll send the link privately.
I tried several times to get somebody to port it but nobody is interested. Its a bit sad because its a good game. Would be fun to show people this game on amigaos4.
Keep it mind that is compiled with svn sources and so it needs server with "development" status.. it is untested.. (i've just connected to a server and i've moved a tank..)
@mickjt Sorry i m to retarded to be able to port something.
@afxgroup Thank you very much! Been waiting for somebody to have the skills and time to port a newer version.
I tried several ip-servers but nobody worked. Is it possible to get a list of all active servers? Otherwise we have to search for active servers all the time. Maybe somebody can add a amigaserver?
You shuld change "i'm really tired...!" to "i'm really great..."
Edit: I saw you wrote something about development status. Have to check that out.
