I received this today, but since SimpleMail classed it as spam(!), I thought it might be worth reposting here so no-one misses it (nor the coming-soon info pack) :

AmigaOne X1000 Beta Test Information Pack

A-EON Technology is pleased to announced that Beta Test Information packs will be emailed out by Hyperion Entertainment over the next few days to everyone who registered their interest in joining the AmigaOne X1000 Beta Test Team. Initially 100 Beta Test places are being made available but A-EON may extend the programme up to a maximum of 125 Beta Testers. Preference will be given to existing AmigaOS4 Beta Testers and the first 100 Beta Testers who sign up to the programme will receive a special commemorative "A1-X1000 Beta Test Team Member" badge. The cut-off date for signing up to the Beta Test programme is September 15th, 2010 although A-EON may extend this period up to a maximum of 14 days.

If you registered your interest in joining the AmigaOne X1000 Beta Test Team and do not receive a Beta Test Information email from Hyperion in the next few days please send a message to contact(at)a-eon.com with the subject title: AmigaOne X1000 Beta Test Team & Programme Request

I haven't received it (and I think I should have). How was the email headed? Perhaps YAM deleted mine on the server without even downloading it.

I got this personal mail from Trevor himself sent from A-EON. Although, i'm not qualified as a Beta-tester of this calibre, i do appreciate this information as any other news regarding the progress of the X1000 and AmigaOS4 for the X1000...

Soon to own a powerful AmigaOne X1000 with latest AmigaOS 4.1 incarnation ;) Dual Core PPC!
