Would just let you know that I have started on a music tagger project and the first alpha is finished. But before I put it on OS4Depot I would like to hear if somebody is interested in bugtesting it ?!
Nice idea :) Hope that you will suport all the IDTag versions/functions and also made some automatic operations to edit multiple files and something similar...

When IDv2 are there, count me in. And there's taglib library on os4depot. I used it for reading tags, no porblems so far.

Downloaded it and I'll test it soon. Care to add wma tags? Also, is there a chance you add freedb support? (fetching results by keyword then selecting appropriate entry and apply tags automatically to selected files)? In any case, it's good to have this program! many thx, keep it up man!
Was actually just now looking for a Tag Editor and stumbled over yours Pretty neat already
Keep on the great work
(Maybe it would be possible for you to support some "foreign" MP3 formats aswell? I have some MP3s i ripped from my music cassettes and it doesn't support them, it's a children audio adventure called "Hui Buh, the castle ghost". I could send you a sample if needed)

@mcleppa You have tough competition from the truly excellent (but 68k) MP3TagEditor. It's pretty powerful yet very simple to use. You might want to steal ideas from it
edit: I just tested the MP3TagEditor and it doesn't find the files either, except one, but that one i didn't send :-/
