No I don't think the idea is to have it replace laptops, I guess the idea is to lower the place required on the desktop to place a computer on it, now having an LCD monitor and this kind of computer you finally have very little place wasted. As a side effect, it's also a rather easily transportable computer given the fact that you can find monitors almost everywhere, better give it an HDMI output and you can use every recent LCD TV... You can then easily bring with you your main computer from your home to your work, and then to you secondary house... Having an OS4 capable machine similar to this would fulfill almost completely my need for an OS4 capable laptop...
It's cheaper, can have a fullsize keyboard and is nice when you want to connect it to a TV for games/movies. Perhaps it can fit a 3.5 harddrive as well.
For stationary computer I buy some thing like this:
I go for MiniATX cabinet, and cordless mouse and keyboard, and quality LCD screen.
For portable computer I buy a laptop.
The keyboard and computer combo only saves one single cable (if you use cables), it only saves a tiny few inches of space, compared to mini ATX cabinet and keyboard combo
What it does do is make impossible to move the keyboard whit out moving all cables that hanging out of it?s backside, it also make a lot more likely you damage the connectors on backside when you move keyboard/computer around the table, and cables gets stuck.

Dragging a keyboard/computer in to your Couch, is not some I'm going to do,
The Audio/video cables connected to your TV and to your computer in your couch is a prefect trip wire solution.
if you have XBOX360 or PSP3 in your living room you might have some experience whit people tripping/stumbling in the game controller cable or some other cable.
If you are going to connect your computer to TV buy a mini ATX cabinet and cordless mouse and keyboard, an mini ATX cabinet can easily be hidden under your TV, and no one will stubble in your cordless mice and keyboard.
