There was an intermediate bugfix beta on the UAE ml some weeks back, but i doubt a full release will be around the corner soon (i can be wrong though)
It's not very high on Rich's list (OS4 has priority)

This is BETA, i don't even know if i'm allowed to post it, nevertheless i do, because having tested it myself for some weeks now, i can say it's MUCH more stable than earlier versions and do fix most of the bugs and crashes *I* encountered ...
Keep in mind that is's STILL BETA...
@Rich
If i crossed your border, please let me know, it's just, i know how desperate *I* was with all the flaws in earlier versions that i just can't see fellow amigans suffer any longer

I doubt OS4 is high priority either because he took the bounty to integrate UAE into AROS...
I am still hoping that one day e-uae gets ppc-jit so that even with our broken hardware (amigaones) we would be able to play our beloved classic games at full speed !
Come on, the A1 has/had some issues but it is far from broken. I play many games with the current version of E-UAE (which Rich acknowledged has a memory "leak") at a very good speed, in fact I can't tell if they are slower than the originals in many cases.
You will be surprised how some software changes can improve things. Also remember with the A1 we wouldn't have AOS4.
I am sure you appreciate Rich's efforts across all "amigas".
Cheers ace
PS Let's clone Rich and have one per "amiga system" -:)
"Broken hardware, broken hardware, broken hardware". I've heard this since the A1 was released... is it 4 years ago? You know you can't blame everything on "broken hardware".
My hardware is working and I'm playing games with E-UAE. Maybe it's the user that is "broken" in some cases?
My Amiga One was repaired on summer 2006 and has some issues but is not broken and I agree is the machine we give us OS4.0 and it has great things.
I am very proud and happy with my Amiga One.
About UAE I have 0.8.29 and it is very unstable and after exit it slows down so much my machine that I have to reboot. And for the games I can not play anything on HD (used AmiSYS 3 Plus HDF) and its absolutely unusable for me as I cannot even run Hippoplayer or games probably cause I don't know how to mount a CD-Rom filesystem.
