Hi, I still get progressive bold (https://github.com/derfsss/dopus5-os4/issues/1) in configupos gadgets.

It has always been this way: a BOOPSI gadget that becomes activated receives all input until it is deactivated. So an active string gadget (for example) will swallow the ESC, instead of the application receiving it. It would require some redesign in the framework to do something about it. I have no idea (yet) what the needed scope of the redesign would be.

I see someone else create ANOTHER version of dopus5. Derfs at least create beta versions of 5.93 and put them here, but another dev using AI start mess it up increasing subversions for every singe changes, which is wrong for what we do before, so will be good if he can change the name of his ai fork.

I see you want to upload on os4depot this other version of dopus5 from someone else, over our well tested one, who for every simple changes (include AI ones) increase the versioning numbers , and now its "5.99" or whatever is it : plz, don't try to overwrite our version. He's version don't tested properly , author even claim he even didn't test aos4 and morphos version, so please, no need to upload any other version over our well-tested one.

And will be good if author will simple change the name to something else, because increasing version numbers for small changes, using AI without proper tests is no-go , so better if author change the name to something else.

Right, now no one asking me on emails or whatever and our version was simple overwritten by that ai generated fork or whatever is it with no proper is tests.

Who ask you to do so ? I simple my not set 10 years ago password when upload dopus5 or maybe there wasnt possble to do so, but what make you think you can take any fork and overwrite our well tested version ? Scummvm thread learn you nothing ? Ask admins to dekete it and i will upliad our version back with password, and you can upload whatever you want with whatever name you wish, damn !

The best thing we could do is to help the author to resolve potential issues on OS4. So, I would suggest testing the new version and create issues on GitHub, so they can be fixed.

Let's embrace the further development and help with reports.

You people need to cooperate!

Don't create lazy untested AI mess and puke it around as if it's gold. We as a community don't have resources to test blindly refactored AI mess and all hundreds or thoudsands of corner cases the AI didn't understand and created strange bugs around.

AI may be good for creating new modern web BE/FE framework template code, and isolated algorithmic functions. I strongly doubt it will do anything good with legacy Amiga code, except making it 'look' good.

I have no connection to what author of fork do. Please reupload back our last 5.92 version and upload your one with ither name. I spend years if testing and not need to replace it with anyone else fork.

Guys, you cant say its all right ? I am ok with ai, but things should be tested, checked, understanded, etc,etc
