OK. Recently, I've been trying to do something with ‘Return to the Roots’ on AOS4. The ‘s25edit’ editor creates maps that seem to be compatible with the originals. I'll check if everything works. When it's ready, I'll be able to share it.
@McFly You're welcome, if I finish it, I'll share it for free, as always.
If there are any elements missing for a complete port of Settlers II for AOS4 (including the editor), this is a great opportunity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Amiga and the release of the long-awaited port of Settlers II for the Amiga. As usual, there are still many things to check and ensure compatibility with the original Settlers II port, but... Here's a short video showing how I'm testing various things and what's currently working.
@328gts Great - have fun !!! Additionally, a map editor based on s25edit (RTTR) for AOS4 has been made available by HunoPPC I hope it will be useful for some custom games.
Did anyone in the US ever get their physical copies? I received an email from Simon back in October asking if I wanted the English or German version, but nothing since. I sent an email a couple of weeks ago asking if it ever shipped, and no response yet.
Wondering if I'm alone or maybe they halted shipments to the US because of tariff uncertainty?

Well I was able to order it by saying I led in another country. GOt the download, but having all kinds of trouble unpacking and then installing. I finally got it installed without any errors. But it crashes on me everytime I start the game. It will play the videos and has a DSI error and crashes out.
