Atari 2600 Emulator Stella

Hi Everyone,

Is there anyone interested in porting the Atari 2600 emulator Stella to AmigaOs 4. There is an old port for AmigaOS 3 on aminet.

With the release of the Atari 2600+ it would be nice to have a working Atari 2600 emulator running on AmigaOs 4.

Also, thanks to everyone that has brought us so many great emulator to AmigaOS 4.

MagicSN is porting the retroarch frontend, maybe you can ask him if a stella core os4 port can be done, but he's already got a lot on his plate.

That's nice and all but I'd still like a stand-alone version. I have it ported for Wii, it's available for MOS so I thought that maybe it would be quick to port it.

No hurry though and I believe that Steffen got enough to do as it is.

To me it just seems like one of those emulators that should've been ported long ago. A bit supriced that it hasn't happened yet.

I think that not everyone wants or needs the whole package of retroarch for one
or two emulators.

Also, talk about something that is OT, didn't ask about RetroArch.

Also talk about that because of narc-reasons.

And offcourse they always have more Amiga-systems than the regular Amiga-user. Because then they win and everyone will automatically believe anything they say is how the think. More is better to them.

It's fascinating how a simple offer of help can be interpreted in so many different ways... especially when one doesn't know the motivations or the facts. My suggestion was just to offer a potential solution for Stella.
