Quite a regular

Hi everyone,

A bit late as usual, but here it is at last, the game competition for May.

This month we will be playing a game suggested by 328gts and Levellord, namely Space Invaders!

Quote:

In this game you are assigned to defend the Moon from invaders from the outer space. At your disposal is a cruiser initially equipped with a single laser cannon. The aliens have matching weaponry but you are outnumbered 1 to 50 in every round.

How long can you hold the invasion forces?

The goal is to score as many points as possible. The one with the highest score wins the contest.

Who will be the Amigans.net master of this classic shoot'em up game? Only time will tell...

The challenge does not work on Qemu with G4. Maybe there is a competitor who can break the record on Qemu ?

I am uploading an SDL shared library that bypasses the SDL1.x problem under Qemu.
File to be swapped in SObjs. Please make a backup of the libSDL-1.2.so library.
It should also work on a real Amiga but is compiled under a trosty graphics card.

Additionally:
LEFT ALT + ENTER - minimise
RIGHT ALT +ENTER -fullscreen/window

SDL from the repository -> https://github.com/AmigaPorts/SDL-1.2
File ->. https://we.tl/t-voINben0pS

You are good my friend

I almost read over it, it solves more problems under Qemu/Peg2 with SDL 1.x. You did well. I would like to port some things to AmigaOs4.1 myself, but I need some help for that.
