I saw a glimpse of a new logo by DBAlex on OS4Depot a moment ago. Is it getting a makeover?

Didn't think anyone would notice ;)

I've added a rotating banner. Like on http://pouet.net

Only two as of yet. Not easy to find artists that can do sceneish/demoesque logos :)

(If anyone wants to make one then just let me know and I'll post the requirements.)

why not post them anyway, and you might get surprized?
what about a compo? winner gets the glory and lifetime free downloads from os4dpepot, and a honorary mention in the os4depot news feed.

Very well.

The logo(s) are for the OS4Depot.net main website. Looking for some stylish sceneish/demoesque logos that will be displayed randomly. Look at pouet and reload the page a few times to see what I mean.

You can see the currently used logos at the bottom of this page:

http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=banners

Requirements
- Height: 56 pixels
- Width: 200-500 pixels
- The text "OS4DEPOT" or "OS4Depot" must be used.
- Use png, gif or jpg
- Must fit somewhat into the overall theme

Optional requirements
- Add the slogan "Your one stop for OS4 files" if you want to
- One, a few or massive amounts of solid metallic cubes are always a plus

Data supplied by the artist
- Background color
- Nickname
- Optional personal link to be used with the text "Logo by [nick]"

What not to do
- Don't use other peoples copyrighted material
- Don't use blue butterflies ;)
- No dancing bananas
- No pancakes (Well, unless you really have to and if they're red)

Isn't "Optional requirements" a contradiction in terms? Or an oxymoron?

Why, are you painting something and have a hard time figuring out if you have to do those optional requirements or not? ;)

It's not too much with the new theme images in a css browser then?

(Before anyone asks, No can't add them as HTML since it's invalid HTML and doesn't pass the validator. <TD BACKGROUND='images/gfx.gif'> isn't valid html unfortunately)

The original logo displayed nice on every browser I used to access the site. I liked it.

These new logos display terrible on my OS4 IBrowse and XP Firefox. The ones with the black background are almost unreadable. Maybe it is my color preferences.

The original still displays nice.

Can you make a few snapshots so I can see if there's something that doesn't render correctly?

Looks like this in my Ibrowse on os4:

In OWB (os4):

In firefox 3.0 (ubuntu 8.04):
