Has anyone tested the updated drivers with their Polaris11 cards on X5000 that previously failed under 2.4?

By failing you mean working in 2D but not working in 3D? If so, then I use RadeonRX 10 and Radeon RX 11 now. Before they fail to work in 3D, now all ok.

No, by "failing" I mean "crashing when you try and play a video with Emotion".

Make sure you have firmware folder in your SYS: boot partition. Also, make sure to run power prefs and select best performance and save it.

Thanks, but we've already been through all of this with Spectre660. Version 2.4 won't work and we had to downgrade.

New warp3dnova works great with my XFX RX570.

Double amount of shaders compared to the RX560 also result in double the amount of fps in shaderjoy compared to the RX560.

But in games (RTCW, Night of the zombies, tuxcart) I hardly notice any speedup.

The power mode setting is still not saved after a reset. I always have to go to the power pref to enable high power mode after each reboot.

The XFX RX570 has a full lenght heatspreader on the bottom side of the PCB. This interferes with the two DIMM slots on the X5000. So be carefull which RX570 you buy.

Thanks, my RX 560 is working fine with the lastest update.

Tried shaderjoy, which works nicely. But when i try the new emotion player. It just gives me the grim reaper when starting. If i try to ignore dsi, i get the same message in the output window...

Emotion works with the demo version.

The "Time" issue seems to be yet another bug on the server, because it *was* installed, yet it installs an outdated (53.21) version from 12.11.2017.

And more annoyingly now AmiUpdate wants to update Time itself again...
