If you like to get support use database-org.com, I'm not going to give support on Amgans.net, Amigaworld, Amigaorg, or OS4Depot.net. I don't have time to go looking for feedback and bug reports all over the internet.

And with long threads like this impossible for me track cases from different users with same or similar problems.

And when reporting bug, you need always provide crash logs, in case of memory corruption. What programs where you using while using mplayer, should also be in any bug report and what system computer. I simply don't remember who has what hardware.

Sorry to say that version should not have been uploaded to OS4Depot.net, it should have been beta tested more before it was uploaded.

For any reason it seems i can't submit any reply on database.org ...

I have no output at all when i try to launch a DVD video, but video will be read for sure because a video output will be opened and i can even hear its sound !

But the video window is just black, see grab:

P.S.
I'm using MPlayer 6.5.7 with MPlayerGUI

The text formatting on bulletin is slow on the server side, I'm thinking about using javascript instead.

Nice new version, working great.

I have a feature request if i may?

Would it be possible to add a flag to hide the mouse pointer while in fullscreen mode (if something like that exists on AmigaOS4)?

Thanks a lot for the new version

Nope, stays here on the screen big and bright
(I'm using the MPlayerGUI though, maybe if you provide your full cli line i could try that instead)

Yes, that will work as the mouse pointer will be "left behind" once fullscreen opens.

But if you use the -fs (fullscreen) switch right from the beginning the mouse pointer will be there.

There's no "left behind" function. The mouse is always at the top of any display. It has to be switched off manually in code. There is obviously a bug that only switches off the mouse pointer when you switch to full screen, but not when starting in full screen. LiveForIt could fix this easily, if you write a bug on the database site.

It seems that I cant post a comment on my bug report at database.org - I think the url is wrong as the "comment" is spelled "commet"

Anyway regarding this http://database-org.com/comments.php?topic=60

I have found that the issue only arises when Odyssey has been used to play an embedded video. If I quit Odyssey then the files play normally. A perfect example is Neil Greens recent post in of ACE OF BASE - All that she wants in the Commodore Amiga Facebook page (sorry that I cant post a direct link). Play that video in odyssey for a few seconds, then stop it. Now try running superman.flv with Mplayer.

Not that i'd know what i'm talking about...

...but since the mediaplayer in Odyssey is quite buggy (for most people) maybe it's not freeing something mplayer needs (video resource?) or is crashing silently in the background locking resources?

I rewriting part of the site, changing. GET method, with POST method, I have some problems with security settings on server. I also started working a notification service, so I do not need to check the site every day for new comments. Should free up more of my time.

Doing all my changes on live server, so you might have experienced some down time. Should be up and running now.
