@328gts

Enhancer nonsense? You mean the only signs of serious progress for OS4 over the past 7 years? Wow :/

I tried a RX590 too - it works, but jet engine fans and is no faster than my Sapphire RX550. Away from home rn, so no vendor info for you.
RX550 runs silent, has 2GB RAM and no issues.

I upgraded to RX on my X1000. You get used to the no soft reboot.
Stability is no different. Performance is better, particularly with video decoding.
An X1000 CFE update is needed to officially support RX cards.

I can imagine that it would be upsetting/offensive to the individual.

There was no obvious mention on the streams of any X1000 CFE updates.
The X1000 was mentioned in the Multicore support stream, but only to point out that it was deprecated in favour of the X5000 and A1222.

Guess X1000 HW updates are no longer supported?

RX cards need an updated CFE. This does not exist and there is ZERO news or support to get one done.

There is a way to get RX cards working, not a ideal solution, but it works - details here https://os4welt.de/viewtopic.php?t=2639
