I do not understand the crafting table. Having never played Minecraft, I can only compare it to video footage and it doesn't seem to operate the same way.

That makes 2 of us.
There are some tutorial sites out there, but they haven't helped me much. I do find MineCraft For Dummies on Amazon, used for $4, tempted.

Look, only one leg, count em, one!

@Thematic

Select the recipe you want to craft and click craft. If you have the ingredients then it will automatically craft the item for you.

If the recipe requires a crafting table you have to craft a crafting table (make sure to craft planks first), put it in the quick slot bar and place it on the ground, then right click it. All recipes will then be unlocked.

For fans of Minecraft in creative mode based on the classic first version of its prototype, Classicube has been released by HunoPPC.
If you like Lego bricks, this game is for you. HunoPPC has even added a set of Lego skins to this version
Classicube is very popular – there is an online game available on servers where you can build cities, neighbourhoods or your own structures with your friends.
The game uses shaders and looks very good, enhancing the visual experience.

Although I personally prefer the classic technical Minecraft – ‘Red Power’, ‘Industrial Craft’, ‘GregTech’ – Classicube also looks interesting.

Tested the SPE version on my a1222. Ran surprisingly well. Especially if I started on a new completely flat level, to play around with some simple house building I uploaded a video on youtube to show how it runs on an A1222. Sorry for the 720p quality (forgot to set a higher quality on my phone) and I filmed with my hand while playing.

@Mr_byte

Change the ‘view distance’ setting from 512 to a lower value for testing purposes. Add the following line to the ‘options.txt’ file: viewdist=128
You can play around with this option by adjusting the setting to your preferences.

@smarkusg

Thanks for the tip. Setting view distance at 32-64 gives a noticeable boost at more complex levels
