New AmigaOS4 video editing tool release
Not too shy to talk

My favorite AmigaOS4 video editing tool gets new features and bugfixes with version 2.0. I've made a couple of YouTube videos with earlier versions and plan to get busy making more with this new release. VideoClipper gives powerful control of ffmpeg (now instead of mencoder) to cut and join video clips and arrange their order, now with ability to do fades and other effects. You can advance forward by frame now (not as precise for going backwards, alas) so more accuracy for tighter edits. The program controls MPlayer via Arexx, and with advances in our video playback capability creating high-def videos are now easier to manage with our X1000. The VideoClipper interface now adds thumbnail images for in and out point of edits. Users can achieve some more sophisticated edits with the NLE within Blender, but VideoClipper is less taxing in some ways on our systems and provides quick-to-accomplish cuts-only editing that can be output to a variety of formats.

Its a nice improvement since last release. Much easier to use and more ways to change fadein/fadeouts etc.

Videoclipper only allows me to use liveforit mplayer, but when I use that with MPlayerGUI all I get is a blank window with the audio playing.
If I use the MplayerSummer version the video and audio play Video, but
videoclipper doesn't show/use any cut times.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Does it cut/edit and join and recalculate the index without reencoding?

@Slayer

You can join video files without re-encoding by setting the Video and Audio Codecs to "Copy".
The videos do need to have the same Codecs, FPS, Resolution, Aspect ratio, Bitrate and Pixel Format.
You may lose some accuracy in the cuts with some videos depending on how they were encoded.
Also you cannot use effects or add titles without re-encoding.

Just wanted to let everyone know I didn't release the latest version of VideoClipper. I released the source code to others as I was/am unable to continue supporting it for personal reasons.
