Share files between OS 4.1 and MacOS X 10.4.11?

I haven't been able to get Samba working between my Amiga and my Mac (it DOES work between the Amiga and a PC, and the Mac and the PC, and everything and my printer, but the Mac will see but won't talk to the Amiga, and the Amiga will neither see nor talk to the Mac.)

I had intended to use NFS, since it's an old and rather established protocol so I figured there'd be an Amiga client, but apparently I'm rather wrong there.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Not much of a solution to that problem,but how about a usb stick? Thats what i use to share files between amiga and pc.

I'm pretty sure there is a NFS client for the Amiga. Never tried it myself though. Found this page http://sourceforge.net/projects/anfs/files/ but can't find any files there. But i'm pretty sure someone i know has been using NFS on his 68k Amiga.

Seems like there might been an NFS client included with AmiTCP/IP.

i guess it has to do something with the Master File Server (or how is it called?). So there has to be a WinPC in the network and you can see the mac with AmigaNetCenter (when is coming an update btw?! and the amiga with your mac.
I managed to share files between the mac and AmigaOne, but now i'm having your same problem with my Sam, it is visible in the network as long as a WinPC is connected but I can't share files... and I can't remember exactly the settings to solve the problem.

I will have a look into it this WE, time permitting..

I use PetesFTP to copy files back and forth.
Not exactly the same I know but it might do for now.

try the opposite. use smbfs to mount mac's volumes on os4

Setup a FTP server on MacOSX.

and use FTPFS
